you're basing this on movies...stunts..not actual fighting. Fair enough. Then again, I think that can still show a lot. *shrugs* in a movie with stunts and cues and marks for where to stand, there is no resistance, the art isn't being tested. Chuck has been tested. and calling a Gracie black belt "generic" trust me i ache to this day working to earn one of those (2x over) no small feat.. |

I don't get what's wrong about basing it on stunts and the art itself.  Do you guys not realize that the sport is an "art?" Stunts or not, he can still do that stuff....not to mention in his "showing off" there's literally no way you can't tell me that he doesn't show what he can do within those stunts (not movie stunts either). |

It's like saying finger painting is a direct indication of wether you'll be able to paint a masterpiece |

I've seen Norris fight. Still, nothing special. Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee are the best (Jackie in acting) Jet Li is actually widely considered the best kung fu fighter to ever live. Jaclie Chan's is very good, but he is more of a performer. |

If you're insinuating that that's not fighting still, I'm going to disagree with you....He clearly shows it. Choreographed or not, he does it. I don't get what's wrong about basing it on stunts and the art itself. Also, I think I answered these backwards but am too lazy to change it. I'm not insinuating that what is it with you and thinking I'm making an assumption that isn't there. It shows a lot, however it's not exactly a tell-tale indicator of everything someone's capable of "If you're insinuating." Never said you actually were  Fair enough. Still doesn't mean he can't be generic, lol. That being said, through stunts (no resistance however I agree could play a huge factor in a fight, I'm not going to deny that) you can see his speed, his accuracy and you can even see his power and strength through the non-movie stunts. Everything that is needed (at least the stuff that can be tested without an actual fight) is there. |

Anybody watch Grandmaster and is it worth watching? And if so....ummm, do you know where I can watch it where it's in English, or is there no English version? I totally forgot about that movie.
