That's a dream matchup of epic proportions.
See, if WCW did this kind of stuff as opposed to Spider-Men, stormtroopers, and ice ninjas, they'd still be in business today.

Sparkly stormtrooper! ... apparently they were going to give him some kind of Kane-like plastic/rubber mask to wear during actual matches. I kind of wish we could have seen it, given this was coming from the same creative minds that came up with glitter painting a stormtrooper helmet.

Already seen it.
That was one of the promising factors for Kaiju Combat for me if they got the rights they were hoping to get. They plan on obtaining both Stay Puft and Godzilla.
Actually, I've mentioned this before already...

Seriously? Stay Pufft? That's the ONLY thing I've heard about Kaiju Combat that sounded remotely interesting.

Cthulhu is an immortal alien power far beyond human comprehension. Just gazing upon him causes most men to die of fear and the strong to go permanently mad. In terms of raw physical power, Cthulhu can destroy entire cities in his sleep, just by dreaming about them. Cthulhu is not "a monster"... he is for all intents and purposes a god. A fight between Cthulhu and any kaiju would be ridiculously brief.

There's a really good Cthulhu film out there. Made in 2005, it's a black and white silent film about 45 minutes long and an excellent nod to both old-school filmmaking and the book upon which it's based. I'd link the whole thing but it seems that it's been removed from Youtube since I last saw it. Here's the trailer.

I have a digital copy of that and the DVD, which I bought at a gaming convention several years ago. It's pretty cool but I have a lot of trouble with silent films. I did make it through that one though because I'm a huge fan of Lovecraft, and most movies based on his stuff really suck.

I don't mind silent films if they're done well, as I felt this one was. I thought they did a tremendous job, I was sucked in to the mystery just as I was when reading the book.

That marshmallow would wreck Godzilla. Only if the struggle were over who had actually been in a decent movie once.

That marshmallow would wreck Godzilla. In an actual fight? Nope. Stay Puft is too slow and Godzilla breathes atomic energy beams.

To be fair... "Staypufft" isn't JUST a giant marshmallow man. It takes literally any form that someone thinks of at the wrong moment. It could be the easiest fight Godzilla ever had, or it could tear him apart, depending on the details 8)
