Link (hopefully) to a sample character in MS excel format; "Dark Match" Donnie Driver. www.dropbox.com/s/m8sp0lh125qcd52/DonnieDriver.xlsxFor those that can use XL, the best thing about this spreadsheet is that it has the full maneuver list on the third page...

WK, can we have more than 1 character or are we only having one, or what? Also, just wondering, can my guy be "Bane The Destroyer?" I know some people would rather us not have our usernames (or anything like it) as a character, so I figured I'd ask before I filled this out.

I know some people would rather us not have our usernames (or anything like it) as a character, so I figured I'd ask before I filled this out. We're just doing 1 character each for this tourney. Like I said, if we do a Fed, everybody will have a full roster (one for each tier of character, I think that's 5 characters each). I don't care if you want to use "Bane the Destroyer" as your wrestler, I'm sure you can wrap an awesome gimmick around that. I'm not opposed to weird/supernatural type gimmicks.. not everybody has to (or even should) be "Daniel Bryan: The Greatest Wrestler In The World" We need our Kanes and Lesnars too

LOL I never thought you'd say that you need a Lesnar haha. Okie, I'll start filling mine out (also, if you said no, I was going to make "Cody Danielson" which is another one of my fed characters, lol. He is based on a mixture of Cody Rhodes and Bryan Danielson....with a little bit of emo, so it's funny that you said not everybody needed to be Bryan).

If wrestling were real, Brock Lesnar would be a great character. Unfortunately for him, wrestling is fake and he doesn't seem to understand that 8) Fortunately for us, in this game, the wrestling part of wrestling IS real, so a beast who straight up hurts people and doesn't care about anything but his paycheck would be a fine addition.
I don't have to love something to understand how it can be an awesome part of a story or game at any rate. I don't like supernatural gimmicks, but I'll be disappointed if we start a fed and there isn't at least one Undertaker/Boogeyman/Papa Shango expy. Heck, if more of our potential players were old enough to remember the late 80's/early 90's, I'd love to do a Fed based on the crazy gimmicks of that era.

If you haven't already, you probably want to come up with a (non-generic) name for your character's Finisher... as simply doing so gives you a +1 bonus "to hit" with that attack. I'm adding the +1 bonus to everyone's sheet as I make them operating on the theory that everybody is going to come up with a more exciting name than "Powerbomb Backbreaker" (just to use Bane as an example). Don't make my theory fall apart please 8)

Username: Soondragon67 Wrestler Name & Nickname: Lex Thunder Gimmick: Greek God/Kung Fu Master/Marine Bio: Was once a minor Greek god before being shamed and cast out, completely forgotten by time. It is unknown just what he was cast out for, with that fact escaping even the memories of the mighty Olympians. After being cast out he moved away from Greece, forbidden to ever return there, and came to the Himalayan mountains. There he practiced ancient and powerful forms of kung fu, dedicated many thousands of years to the practice to keep himself busy. He then once again migrated during the Boxer Rebellion and moved to the Americas. The first few years of his life in America he chose to live in a small town, keeping mostly to himself. Then World War I struck and he felt a great disturbance in the balance of the world, a trait he picked up during his many years of meditation. He realized that he would have to participate in this war, for the greater good of mankind. After the United States joined the war he immediately signed up to be a marine. His amazing performance in training granted him almost instant promotion into the marines. After his stellar accomplishments in battle and generally inhuman like feats he was questioned by a major general at the time. Upon finding out the truth about Thunder he recommended keeping his existence a secret from the public, which the government soon followed through with. He was then assigned to a special platoon in which he was the sole member, at least according to those involved. He would go on to also participate in World War II where he also played significant role. The last war he participated in was the Vietnam War, in which he participated only partially. He no longer felt the disturbance he had felt decades earlier and chose to resign from the military, much to their disapproval. After this not much is known about how he spent his time, at least until recently when he showed up in an indie wrestling company, for reasons nobody can quite figure out. As long as you know what it is though, you may call it Venomocity.

You can take your sheet and set it up however you'd like, now that you have the stats, etc. What I usually do for my sigs & finishers is provide the name, followed by a description (or youtube link if I can find a good example) in parenthises afterward. At the end of the day, as long as YOU know what the move is, that's what matters, because IF you win the maneuver roll in a given round of combat, you get to write the narration for that round, so you'll be describing what happens 8) Just for example; my "Detroit Dragon' wrestler had the "Motor City Breakdown" as his finisher. I had it listed like this: Motor City Breakdown (European Uppercut to spin opponent away, followed by a snap kick to the back of the skull). ... people still didn't understand what I was trying to describe
