I think a Season Mode or a Road to WrestleMania type story's what I would like. I just don't want NXT to be a part of the game. As of right now, it is still only developmental and idiotic to be in a game. I do think that legends should be in the game, but I don't want them to take the position of the current roster (NXT excluded, obviously). Of course I like having Bret Hart in the game, but I don't want him in the game if Goldust (maybe not the best example, but it was the first one that came to mind) could take his place. If they have open space though, include whatever legends you want. That's what I think. Oh for sure, I'm not saying for them to go balls-to-the-wall and have no Legends in the game at all, I'm all for having legends in the game (SCSA, Rock, HBK come to mind) I'm just saying that after the last 2 years, this year I'd like to see maybe 90% of the roster be current guys instead of there being a 50-50 division of both legends and current. Also, I'm all for having NXT guys on the roster, I know NXT is as you say still developmental but it'd make sense to have them in the game purely to make the game consistently current. I mean just think about it with no NXT guys in the game, come this time next year the game will be super outdated roster-wise, This time next year the Main WWE Roster could/probably will be filled with guys like Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, The Ascension, ect, So why not put them in this years game, You see what I mean? Well, why not? Well, for one, even if they're valuable (which I'd argue they're not as of yet) for NXT, who's to say they'll ever make it to the main roster and/or ever be valuable to WWE at all past NXT? Some will say "jobbers are in the game though and they're not important." or "Enhancement Talent's not important either" and I'll just disagree with that completely (not saying you would say that either, just some complaints that I've come across, lol).

That's not the point. In fact, not all of them suck. It's the fact that you're hyping something that may not even ever be of use to you and your company. Put Bo Dallas in the game, he's technically on the main roster. Put Konnor in the game though and it's the most idiotic thing ever. ...Why do you think I mentioned them having a show? They're already making money for the company. Again, not the point. OVW made money for the company. FCW made money for the company. Every "brand" or "developmental" has made money for the company. Just because they have a show, does not mean they're valuable to WWE in any way. In fact, I seem to recall that Vince has recently lost a third of his money......despite the Network (which is where the show's aired) being bought by so many.

I think it'd be of his best interest (and this may be unpopular) to get rid of the free ppvs, or up the price to like 30 dollars a month (a ppv alone costs 50 dollars still, doesn't it? If so, the people would still be making quite the profit).

$30 would be completely unreasonable. The most I would be willing to pay is $29.99

I think the "pay 10 dollars a month and you get the pay-per-views for free" thing is the main problem with the Network. They're losing 40 (I think) dollars per person that used to buy ppvs, but now own the network. I think they expected the 10 dollars for free ppvs was going to be a bigger pull in than it was. Plus the same goes for nostalgia.

I don't watch NXT or have a problem with the game being full of legends but after 2 years of it, I'm hoping for something new/fresh feeling in the game & For me that means no more making us play though old ass matches and a younger/more current roster. Hopefully we don't have that god-damn "My Career" thing that's all the rage at the moment upon the rumor-mill. I was a fan of the whole original story thing they had going on with RTWM (fair enough they were usually bad, but that's not the point I'm making here)I think a Season Mode or a Road to WrestleMania type story's what I would like. I just don't want NXT to be a part of the game. As of right now, it is still only developmental and idiotic to be in a game. If they have open space though, include whatever legends you want. That's what I think. As I explained in an earlier post (which most people probably didn't read because it was a lengthy novel), I'm not keen on the idea of a game that spends any significant focus on NXT either. Not necessarily because I have no interest in NXT (and I don't), but because to me it seems like a game that emphasized the company's developmental show would be more about advertising the WWE as a brand than creating an authentic "career" experience. I guess what I'm trying to say is this: The other 2K franchises, or at least NBA, have a career mode where there's stuff like contract negotiations, free agent signings, different teams vying for your character, the possibility of poaching from the competition, right? At least that's what I've been told. Well, we obviously know that none of these things will happen in a WWE game because one single person owns the entire universe that it takes place in. So, if we do wind up getting a new type of MyCareer mode (or something similar), will it be an attempt at presenting an authentic experience of an unknown rookie's voyage through the wrestling industry on a quest to superstardom, or are we just going to get a fluff mode that simply glamorizes the various WWE shows, their developmental brand, and the importance of Wrestlemania and the WWE title? Will it be more "real", with in-fighting and "legit" betrayals and low paychecks and cutthroat competition and hard times, or will it be typical monopolistic WWE kayfabe mode where everyone's in character all the time and they all love the WWE and only care about being the champion and bla bla bla bla bla? I don't know why anyone would want a focus on NXT in principle, anyway. How do we know that half of the NXT roster will even be employed a year from now? And I know that they're REALLY proud of this developmental division (and rightfully so) but really, what's the game going to do to prove that it's as important as they want it to be? Trot out Bad News Barrett to illustrate the heights of success that can be achieved as an NXT graduate? I dunno. I guess we'll see. I just want a legit, relatively realistic simulation of an actual wrestling career (or at least an actual WWE superstar's day to day WWE comings and goings). Whether we get that or some glorified Road to Wrestling mode, I don't know.

Is that what you're trying to get at with the "realistic simulation" and "legit" mode?

I love to see them do a UFC type thing where we create our own character (or chose a current star and just give him a bare-minimum move-set) and have them work their way up from the Indies, through NXT and to the Wrestlemania Main-Event learning new moves and earning more fans as time goes by (if you've played a ufc game you'll get what I'm saying) . Hell I'm sure 2K could think up some generic ass wrestling name for the mock-up indie brand in game. They could even start us out as a Tough Enough contestant and have us go that route instead (I mean it does seem like the shorter route), Same thing create or choose our character, give them a basic move-set and have them compete to win Tough Enough, Go through NXT learning all the way and to the WM ME
