The deep, resonant voice of Donnie Driver emanates from the blackened screen.
... twenty years in the business
An image of a long, winding road through the countryside appears on the screen, accompanied by the soft sound of feet on pavement.
... not a single title match
In the distance, a heavyset man appears, jogging toward the camera. He is breathing heavily, obviously straining.
... they say Donnie, you've had a good run. Hang it up.
The man grows closer, and it becomes obvious that it is Donnie Driver, leaner than he has ever been, a look of fierce concentration on his face.
... it's true. Most guys don't get to do what they love and make a living at it. For most guys, that would be more than enough.
Donnie draws up close to the camera and stops. Sweat drips down his round face. His eyes burn with desire.
I ain't most guys. This time, it's my time. I'm going to win that contract, and then I'm going to go on to win the BWA Title. I'm going to retire a Champion... and none of you kids can stop me. Not this time. This is my last chance. You know it, I know it. Stay out of my way.
