The Toledo Sports Arena was alive with noise as the first match of the night was about to kick off. Thousands were gathered live, thousands more were watching on iPPV. Contract Catastrophe 2014 was about to kick-off!
Donne Driver's music hit, and without much fanfare he emerged from behind the curtain. It was a short walk to the ring, but Donnie made the most of it, juking and jiving, dancing his way to the ring with all of the energy he could muster. It was clear that he was a local favorite, the crowd immediately erupted for him in a way that it few opening match entrances could bring about. Donnie danced his way up the wooden steps, then slid between the middle and top rope as gracefully as his girth would allow. He strutted to the center of the ring, then paused, looking out at the cheering crowd behind the metal railing. He took off his powder blue kango and threw it to the crowd, then turned to await the entrance of his first opponent for the night....

The opening chords to this familiar song suddenly reverberate through the room. The building's primary lights have dimmed and smaller lights begin to flash around base of the curtain. Nobody comes out yet and the crowd looks around, confused, trying to find the person to whom this theme is welcoming. Due to this the large majority of the crowd doesn't join in with the "thunder" chants that usually accompany the song, although there are a few people who join in. At the "thunder" right before the song's actual verses begin a man finally comes out of the curtain with a huge grin on his face. The man appears to be in his 40s but he seems to have the energy of a young up and coming high flyer. He sprints the short distance to the ring and slides straight under the ropes. He then leaps up to his feet with style. The crowd begins to cheer him on a bit, liking his attitude. A few people in the crowd however have a quizzical look on their face as they watch the man. As the song ends the man then shouts out "LEX THUNDER" before he heads off to his corner to prep for his match.

(Holy crap a tie on the very first maneuver roll. Let me look up the rule...
Initiative wins on a tie, so Driver's move is executed) 4ic1TTd|1-61-6 11 on dice +3 Brawn + 1 for Lex's Weight Modifier (because of Knockdown) Lex takes 14 points of fatigue, and declares first for next round...
************************************************************************************
Donnie, with an uncharacteristic burst of speed, charged in as soon as the bell was rung, clubbing Lex across the chest with his arm and using his pure girth to drive Lex down to the mat. Donnie smiled, feeling perhaps a bit too confident now that he had made the first move!1-61-6
