Okay, fine, Brody was miscast AND terrible. Happy now? 8)
Neeson was actually vocal about disliking TPM when the movie came out. So was Ewan McGregor. At the time I rolled my eyes because I generally find it obnoxious when an actor is disrespectful or dismissive of a movie that they're in. (I still remember watching 3 of 4 major Leads for Spider-Man 3 sit through interview after interview and basically crap all over not only the specific movie, but the franchise and indeed the entire genre).
The notion that Neeson somehow couldn't make appearances in Sith is silly Hollywood speak for "wasn't interested." If he was, they would have worked it out. He didn't even do his own voice work for the "Anakin, NOOOOOO!" in Ep 2. I'm not sure what voicework he did for Attack of the Clones, given that Qui-Gon appeared in flashbacks not voiced by him, and I can't imagine why he would voice someone else(?)

He didn't even do that brief flashback line in Episode II? Are you sure? I thought that was just recycled dialogue from the first film. I also don't know why he (or anyone else) would have to make up a story about him not wanting to be in Sith, he was very public about wanting to pass on Lincoln (for different reasons) and is the same guy who had no problem appearing in more than one of the critically lambasted Titan films. I don't know why he'd be shy about crapping on Sith, especially if he crapped on Menace.
I'm glad he did crap on Menace though, if that's what happened. I do kind of remember Ewan saying something about it, though I don't quite recall what. As for the Clones series, IMDB credits him as Qui-Gonn in the episodes "Ghosts of Mortis" and "Overlords" if you feel like checking them.

He didn't even do that brief flashback line in Episode II? Are you sure? You're correct, it was him... but they didn't get him into the studio to record it, which is why it sounded so stupid. 8) I see that he did do some episodes of that (stupid) cartoon. The odd thing is that Qui-Gon appears in at least half a dozen episodes, I'm not sure why he did some, but not others.

Bizarre on both accounts. Was it the cartoon or the CGI movie? Or...wasn't there a CGI show in addition to the CGI movie?
Jeez, I don't even know where to begin keeping track of all this retcon Clone War multiverse parallel narrative bullshit. Wouldn't it have been easier to just...you know, make this the subject of the first two films?

I don't keep track of it. I don't feel the need to watch/read everything that has "Star Wars" on it's label. I find it very helpful to divorce the Star Wars movies from the Star Wars brand. There's a lot of the EU that I really like... but I recognize that it can't be "synched" with movies, and accept that, unlike a lot of fans who just make me sad.
The Clone Wars movie was terrible btw. It was essentially George Lucas writing Star Wars fan fiction (even Mary Sue-ing himself into the story with Ahsoka). The cartoon series was (as is usually the case with anything that has a dozen different writers) of widely varying quality, and I would often try to get into the series, but it seems like inevitably they were doing something really stupid that I couldn't stand to watch.

What I saw of the cartoon (seven or eight episodes?) I liked for the most part, though I remember almost nothing about it. I heard that the CGI movie was actually really, really atrocious. As in "even hardcore Star Wars apologists hated this movie".
I don't do EU at all. I love (most of) the movies and that's about it.

I found the following completely unforgivable sins against Star Wars from the Clone Wars series (in order of how awful they were, most offensive to least)
1) COMPLETELY rearranged the understanding of the Light and Dark Side with zero regard for the fact that the entire debate had FINALLY been settled with a straight answer from Lucasfilm. They re-opened an old wound, then poured salty lemon juice into it. $#@!ing idiots.
2) Brought Darth Maul back from the death, then retconned his established background
3) Retconned the history of the Mandalorians
4) Canceled the series without resolving the Ahsoka storyline

Huh? You said that it was bad casting. I agreed (for the same reasons you listed) but I enjoyed his performance all the same. Where did you hear all that stuff about Liam Neeson hating his Star Wars work? My understanding is that he was scheduled for a brief appearance in Sith but wasn't able to commit because he got into an accident. He went on to do voice work for the Clone Wars series. And I very much enjoyed him in TPM, his performance was one of class and restraint (pretty much the only aspect of the entire film to show either). J, I haven't seen Bronson or Saints. Bronson is fantastic. WK will back me up on that. Nicholas winden refin directoring and before he decided to elimatenamte all dialogue from his scripts, Tom hardy acting his ass off and this movie has one of my favorite performances ever. Saints holds a special place in my heart. It doesn't get the respect it deserves cause Shia leabouf and Channing Tatum. Shia has a amazing scene with Chaz palmentire and Channing Tatum doesn't get the credit he's due cause of his lackluster movie choices over the years

It's a true story as well... Though Charles Bronson (Not The Actor) has so far served most of his life in prison despite NEVER killing a single person and is more than likely never going to be released, Which is unfair as people have done ALOT worse than him and have served less time than him. I agree tis a brilliant movie

Bronson is a violent felon. Prison is where he deserves to be. Not having killed a person is not the sole factor that should determine whether someone should be in prison... the fact that he physically assaults people on a relatively regular basis is good enough reason for him not to be allowed near actual human beings.
He does make for an interesting movie though.

Fact: He hasn't attacked a fellow inmate or prison guard in YEARS. He WAS a violent person, He as truly changed his ways & Is now doing charity work on a regular basis from prison (Mainly auctioning paintings)

[/quote] ... yeah, it takes an utter fool to believe that someone shouldn't be punished for their crimes just because they've "changed." "Sure I beat those guys to a bloody pulp, and sure the sentence for that crime is 17 years, and sure it was only 5 years ago... but hey, I've changed, I'm a good person now. Let me out!" I was saying something about an utter fool. 8) A person who is violent when provoked is a violent person. Beyond that, the man actually has several counts of unprovoked violence on his record, despite your claims. A violent person never stops being a violent person, just like an addict never stops being an addict. God forbid that someday one of these thugs hurts someone you care about, so that you actually have to take your head out of your ass and realize this.

He's never been on Trial for half his behavior in prison.... He hasn't had an incident since 1999, The incident, He took a prison guard hostage (though didn't harm him) and smashed up several parts of the prison (kitchen, Laundry room) He received a life sentence for that but, There isn't a fixed penalty for Kidnap and the maximum penalty for property damage is 14 years. He was also previously declared "Insane" and was wrongfully declared "Sane" and multiple Prison officers and Psychologists admited he was only declared sane to save government money, As it was more expensive to keep him in Broadmoor (A high security mental health hospital) than it was to keep him in an ordinary Max Security Prison. There is also a petition to get his sentence lowered which has been signed by politicians and former police chiefs.... Also... Don't call me a "Fool" when you can't even figure the quote system

Please ignore the mass amount of mental trauma the victim may have, that's just some random medical condition.

I said that the hostage taking didn't justify a Life Sentence (it justified 10 years maximum). Mainly due to the fact that Bronson was medically certified insane (mentally ill) at the time and the prison guard was mocking his paintings, Thus provoking Bronson Everyone knows not to mock a mentally ill person as the result of the mocking can often be extreme.

That still justifies absolutely nothing. Dude is insane and therefore should be locked up.
