... and now the movie is guaranteed to suck. Why? I thought she was pretty good in Fast And Furious (4, 5 & 6) For the following reasons; 1) They're attempting to follow the tone and style of the Nolan-verse, even though the Nolan movies won't be directly referenced 2) They're calling it a "Superman" movie yet they're including a bunch of other characters, including Batman whose apparent purpose is to teach Superman how to be a hero (and if that doesn't strike you as $#@!ing stupid right there on it's own, I don't know what could ever seem stupid to you). 3) She sucks. People were upset about Batfleck? At least Affleck has been in decent movies and shown he can act. This chick has been in nothing but third rate action films and never even had a role worth remembering in any of those.

All those movies. 3) Are you seriously judging a person who's only had 8 roles.... 2 Of those roles being in Israeli TV Shows & ALL of the roles have been has a minor/supporting character... That seems stupid to me. 1) They're attempting to follow the tone and style of the Nolan-verse, even though the Nolan movies won't be directly referenced As for this... Well, How do you figure this. we've seen literally NOTHING of this Superman and Batman movie, they may aim for an entirely different tone compared to the Nolan-verse. And obviously the Nolan movies won't be referenced

2) Superman sucks anyway... All those movies. If you don't like Superman, why do you care who is cast in the new Superman movie? I'm not even going to waste my time explaining why your lameass hipster attitude toward the character isn't worth the paper I wipe my ass with. Are you seriously incapable of understanding why an actor with such limited credentials shouldn't be playing such a major role? Because that IS stupid, forget what it seems like.

An actor with such limited credentials? Tons of actors/actresses have been in similar situations and have stole the show in their respective movies... prime examples of this is, Will Smith, A man who'd only had 5 roles before staring in Independence Day. The guy who plays Thor was only in 4 Moives before being in Thor, & all his TV Roles except one had been 1-Off appearances. Al Pacino, Had, had 7 roles before The Godfather. Hell Boyz In The Hood, Was Ice Cube's first acting job. You rule this chick out to quick As for "Hipster Attitude", The fact that i dislike Superman isn't a hipster attitude at all... I just dislike Superman, Even as a child i hated Superman. there's nothing hipster about it. I also care about the case of the new Superman movie because it's a joint Superman and Batman movie, And I'm a Batman fan

I'm not going to waste my time reading all of that. I'm going to assume that you made some kind of protesting noises to having your opinion referred to as hipsterism (which it is), and possibly defended the girl cast to play Wonder Woman with one of the following arguments 1) Everybody gets their first leading role sometime, and before that they do minor roles OR 2) You've seen her and believe she can act. To respond to the first; I would bet every penny in my bank account right now that you cannot, without accessing the internet, list 5 significant events in the history of the character of Superman. You know nothing about him. Your entire opinion of him is formed by pop culture, and you've bought directly into the pop culture position on the character. You don't know enough to dislike the character and thus, Sir, your opinion is nothing but hipsterism. To respond to the other; most others cast in their first leading movie role have significantly more acting experience. They either did minor roles in a lot more movies, worked extended stints on TV series', or were respected supporting actors/actresses. There are a handful of actors and actresses who have made the leap directly to Lead with as little experience as her... and most of them have fallen flat on their faces and had their movies flop terribly, because they don't have the gravitas to pull be leaders off-screen or the experience to be consistent for 2 hours on screen.

I've never seen a Superman movie, read a Superman comic or watched a Superman TV Show.... I just dislike Superman, Not because of pop culture but because i simply don't care for Superman..... The ONLY Superman movies that have come out after my birth are, Superman Returns and Man Of Steel. Neither of which I've seen... Is it so difficult for you to understand that I simply don't care for Superman.... In 06 I was high on the Spiderman movies and didn't care to see Superman Returns, & I'm currently high on the whole Avengers & Batman movies. Superman has never appealed to me in anyway shape or form.

I've never seen a Superman movie, read a Superman comic or watched a Superman TV Show.... I just dislike Superman, Not because of pop culture but because i simply don't care for Superman..... . This really isn't that difficult. If you don't actually know anything about the character, all you've got to work from is, by definition, pop culture. If you didn't have pop culture to work from, you'd have no impression of him at all, and wouldn't be able to say that he sucks. You really shouldn't anyway, seeing as you don't know anything about him, but again... that's the hipster way.

I don't know about it being hipster-ish to hate Superman, everyone I've met hates him. I like Supes, don't get me wrong, but I'd say Superman hating has been fairly mainstream since the 90s.

I don't like Superman. Not because I don't like Superman per say, but because I don't think he is ever done correctly. I mean, He has too many powers for my liking. He's practically unstoppable. Yes, I know he has been defeated and had "fair" matchups before, but sometimes those things are stretched out.
I still haven't watched Man of Steel (I have it though, and am excited to watch it because it had good reviews I believe). I am also still excited about Superman vs. Batman, even though I don't like either of them (or rather the way they're showcased). Batman and Superman could be great, but they aren't in my opinion....
I did love all 3 of the Nolan films though, but I understand why A LOT of die hard fans didn't. Even with my excitement for this film, I can honestly say that once again, Marvel comes out on top with their films.

Well to be fair, I was more afraid of what story they'd try to tell rather than whose cast. People lost their crap when Affleck was cast, but to me whose behind the films are a bigger cause for concern.

Also, I have a lot of faith in Affleck. He's a great actor. Yes, people can go on and on about how Daredevil was "bad" but it was good in my opinion. Was it anything special or would I watch it again willingly? Nope. Far better than Green Lantern though.
Also, Affleck has good movies (even if you hate Daredevil), so it's not like he hasn't proved he has great movies.

Apparently, Henry Cavill (Superman's actor) said his favorite Superman villain was Doomsday. I hope they don't use Doomsday in Batman vs. Superman, Doomsday should be a big event, not something that happens in a movie that already has Bats, Supes, and Lex going at it.

She has no assets.
Ben AFFLECK is a good actor but he's a better filmmaker. I always felt his movies fell when they relying on him. Afflecks best movies are when he is apart of a ensamble

I'm not a fan of Doomsday neither, lol. I never really liked Lex Luthor neither until, Michael Rosenbaum portrayed him in Smallville, he was an extremely great actor (in my opinion), especially for playin the role of Lex Luthor. The only problem is, nobody will catch my interest as Luthor like he did now.

Chris Hemsworth was one of the stars of an Australian Soap for like 4 years before he got cast in Star Trek. They are possibly two of the worst examples you could have used.
