Oh, I forgot the "Ash" thing ... I guess falling onto vegetation and tumbling down a heavily forested hill is the same as being thrown 60' down onto a marble floor in your world, too? The cliff was 30 feet but the second floor to a building is 60 feet? ... Ceasar didn't fall off of a "cliff." You need to re-watch the scene. He falls from one perch in the ape home to the ground. ... and yes, the balcony that Ash was thrown off of was higher. Much higher. And the "ground" was a marble floor.

I would, but I can't right now for rather obvious reason. The apes home is on the edge of a cliff though, and his personal abode is clearly suspended over the edge of the cliff.

You can see the spot to which he falls from the spot in which he is standing when shot. It is not remotely what I would call a necessarily deadly plunge, especially since he landed on plants, and especially since Chimpanzees are perfectly built for surviving falls

So have we ruled out the possibility of magic killing him then? What about the next film revealing it was all a dream and none of it happened?

He doesn't die, so he probably wasn't killed by magic 8) If the next movie reveals that it was all a dream and they're reverting to the "Apes" plot that was actually fun, I might forgive the last two films. ... no, no I wouldn't.

I have a copy of the film and he does in fact fall off of a simple perch that's maybe 30 feet above some brush. As much as it irritates me that you guys choose to ignore the rather reasonable request not to blow major plot points of films without spoiler warnings, I have to admit that Knight is correct about this detail.
Now can we move on please?

Let's talk about what else is playing. I'm sure that we're all excited to see The Purge: This Time It's Actually Trying To Deliver On The Premise and that Cameron Diaz sex tape movie.

Ooh, Seth Rogen. Feel free to count me out of that discussion.

I didn't realize he was in either one of those. Well, being that he's just "that guy that's in every comedy because everything he says is gold" I'm assuming that he's in Sex Tape.
And yes, you're right not to want to discuss it.

It's a stupid comedy and a stupid horror movie. I'm clearly in heaven.

Eh, The Purge had an intriguing premise. It's a shame that the first film apparently completely failed to capitalize on it. The sequel supposedly does a better job but still isn't particularly captivating.
And the other one is raunchy 2000s / 2010s comedy number 767.

1) Seth Rogen isn't in Sex Tape (but it will still suck). Jason Segel, who is a RL friend of Rogen is in it.
2) The first "Purge" movie looked awful but was actually a very watchable popcorn flick. The primary antagonist was super creepy and very fun to watch. If you spend three minutes thinking about the movie afterward, you'll realize you've been bamboozled though, so don't do that.
The sequel looks worse
