Is... is anyone watching the VGAs right now? It's so awkward and chaotic. It's beautiful. *Honk*

I never watch them, I try very hard to stay away from Spike.
Why are they chaotic? Is the show just a mess or something?

I understand that Joel McHale (Co-Host) has a dry humor about him, but he's being rude to guests/developers, and seems completely uninterested in being there. He's openly admitting to wishing he wasn't there. Loiter Squad (What the hell are they even doing there?) is absolutely bombing. They happen to intensify the awkwardness exponentially. Guests aren't sure when they're supposed to walk into the view of the camera. Nothing is organized. *Honk*

Grand Theft Auto V won soundtrack of the year?! GTA5 has a few decent songs, I actually like that Stevie Nick's song and what I'm guessing is the original version of Saturday Night before Nickleback remade it. But yea, there is a lot of crap. Certainly not soundtrack of the year.

Sorry but Last of US had an amazing soundtrack. GTA V's was pretty much terrible...
Hell, even Saints Row IV has a better soundtrack than GTA V.

There's amusingly awkward, and there's cringe-inducing discomfort. I don't really enjoy viewing the latter, which is exactly what your description makes it sound like. As for GTA V winning soundtrack of the year I will say that it didn't particularly impress me but that there did in fact wind up being a good handful of songs I liked that I hadn't previously heard of before. The score was actually quite good as well, a lot of people tend to forget the ambient music during missions and things like that. That said, I'd believe that there were other strong candidates for best soundtrack. If it suggests that GTA V will win game of the year I'm cool with it, that game really was a superbly well-crafted experience and a return to form after the lackluster GTA IV.

Again, I think the ambient score (which was very good in my opinion) probably helped. Though yes, while I'd place the soundtrack above GTA IV, it wasn't better than the soundtrack of Vice City or San Andreas. Here's an example of the ambient score that I'm referring to. This is nothing more than background sound to a mission, and it's awesome.

This went from an awful/great award show to a concert. *Honk* With terrible music. Also nominees for greatest game song... “A.D.H.D.” performed by Kendrick Lamar (Grand Theft Auto 5) “Sleepwalking” performed by The Chain Gang of 1974 (Grand Theft Auto 5) “Survival” performed by Eminem (Call of Duty: Ghosts) “Will the Circle be Unbroken” performed by Courtnee Draper & Troy Baker (BioShock Infinite) Right, okay then, just go ahead and ignore the great songs in Saints Row why don't ya...

On the bright side, for those who were wondering or care, they confirmed that TellTale Games are indeed working on a "Games of Thrones" game. I know about the rumors, but I'm assuming nothing was 100% confirmed? I never got into Games of Thrones, but I'm sure there are a plethora of fans, even on this site. *Honk*

I've come to learn a few of my favorite GTAV songs by title and those two aren't among them. I'd have to look and see what songs those actually are. Eminem's going to win anyway I'm guessing. He's the "big artist" of the group.
