Nah that seems right, that last set only came out on dvd like 4 or 5 months ago. It's still relatively new. The oldest seasons are half that; I just paid something like fifteen for the third season over the weekend. I think season 5A might be 20 bucks or so but for the most part they're all cheap with the exception of the final season. Seasons of Game of Thrones never go down at all.
It's basically an 8 hour movie with something like 5 or 6 hours of commentaries and special features so 30 bucks doesn't seem too bad.

No because the earlier seasons are less than that, you can get the first three or four for around fifteen bucks each. You can't go by the average. Besides, Wal-Mart's price is the same basically everywhere. Amazon charges about $30 dollars for the last season too.

At last. Glad that it lived up, there are those who disliked the ending but I was a fan. It was almost as perfect an ending as I would have liked. I felt that a little more closure to the Walt / Jesse relationship would have been better, but I like that by not giving it to me the show continued to surprise me.

The different complaints I've heard about the ending (spoilers, obviously, though it probably doesn't matter so much now that the two people who have expressed interest in the show have caught up and completely finished it) are that Walt was a jerk and didn't deserve to get his way, that Walt should have killed Jesse or Jesse should have killed Walt, or that Walt and Jesse should have had more dialogue and done something like shake hands or hug in a final moment of understanding and respect.
(Complete and total Game of Thrones spoiler to follow)
The person in my avatar is an actor who's something like 19 years old and plays someone named Joffrey Baratheon, a major character on the HBO series Game of Thrones. He's a complete sociopathic bastard, a sniveling, cowardly, power-hungry bully in the strongest sense of the word who for the last three years has unjustly ruled the series as its king. He's also the son of incest and is commonly cited as the most passionately hated character on television. Just a couple of weeks ago (again, total spoiler here so if you don't want to find out what happens with the character you should probably stop reading) the prayers of many fans were answered when at last the character suffered an ignominious death by poisoning. The scene in my avatar is of his royal wedding, shortly before the poisoning, and is kind of a tribute to the fact that I'm going to miss the little scumbag and all of the uncomfortable scenes that were borne from his presence.
...Actually you know what? Either of these videos will explain the character just fine.

I felt that a little more closure to the Walt / Jesse relationship would have been better, but I like that by not giving it to me the show continued to surprise me. I felt like they gave Jesse and Walt plenty of closure. They didn't do it through an admission of guilt or a long exchange of words. They communicated enough to each other in their actions at the end. Now then, the only problem with the series that I saw was the lack of closure to Jesse. He has absolutely nobody, he's still messed up psychologically, and he just realized that the person he had hated all along was the only person who cared about him. That person is also now dead. It's really sad...

Not bullshit, Undertaker is the whiny boy king. He's a better actor than people ever gave him credit for.
Walt and Jesse did get closure, I just felt that without more dialogue it was kind of abrupt. I mean there was no discussion about the fact that they'd both tried to ruin each other when last they spoke. Not that that would be necessary, and I did like how it ended, but I felt like after all that they'd been through it was such a quiet, nearly wordless goodbye.
And yeah poor Jesse. Psychologically scarred, lost the only two women he ever loved, lost the father figure who, in his own twisted way, truly cared for him, lost the man he looked up to in Mike, became a criminal so disillusioned with what he'd done that he abandoned all the money that came with it, killed several people, and is now alone with no good friends or family to turn to. Aaron Paul and the show's creator did however say that as sad as Jesse's life turned out to be so far, he can now start over. He rock bottomed and now has his future ahead of him as a matured man who has a better appreciation of life and the important things in it. They said they imagine that, if the show had continued, we would have seen Jesse start caring for Brock and turn his life around.
