You children make me sad. Mario Van Peebles is the son of legendary filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles. Mario was in (amongst other things), one of the Highlander movies, and a cool western about black cowboys.

There isn't a single character in these movies so far that resembles the character from the comics in any real sense. I defy you to put a picture of any actor from Man of Steel next to his comic book self and get back to me on how exact the resemblance needs to be. Mario Van Peebles is an intelligent, well-spoken guy with a real education and action chops. I see no reason other than his age that he couldn't be Stewart. |

I feel like Will Smith has played intelligent roles before. He has played Tough guy roles before, I know that for sure. Either way. When you need a black guy, you get John Coffee, Morgan Freeman, or Will Smith.
I think the best of these three is obvious.....
David Otunga should be Jon Stewart.

I'm watching savages. Oliver stone flick from couple years ago. I won't be finishing it. The two main leads are s***ty. Taylor kitsch and Blake lively. I like bencio del toro a lot and I like Aaron tyler Johnston but screw this movie. Stone is freaking hack now. Hasn't made something watchable in years. Side note nuckys brother from boardwalk empire just popped ups that three different movies in a matter of two weeks where he has popped up

I would say Jamie Foxx but I think he will suck in the Spiderman movie and I still can't take him seriously. If Will Smith was a little better actor I would say go with him.
