I don't think Reigns will win, there has to be a definite split from the Shield before he can jump to the top. I do believe he'll be heavily showcased like he was at Survivor Series.
Lesnar won't win, Batista shouldn't win, Kofi... How dare you even mention Kofi.
It's hard to say who could win it because Orton is the Undisputed champion as of now, but that could change from tonight all the way to the Elimination Chamber. Face or heel, unsurprising or shocking.
Personally, my money is on JTG, Seth Rollins, Damien Sandow, or a returning Evan Bourne. I'll let you figure out which ones don't belong on that list.

I'm hoping for Santino, but Santino is out on injury I think, so he's out of the picture. Next up would be Sandow, who isn't likely because that would set up two heels in the same match which means either Orton would lose the title or Sandow would turn face. Finally I see Reigns as a complete possibility. In fact he's the most possible that I see.

I have nothing against Santino as a performer but as long as he has that gimmick I don't want him to win a slurpee.

Sandow is the only one you mentioned that's remotely championship tier, and I mean World title tier, not WWE World Unified title tier. Sandow is more that Christian/Ziggler level, good enough for a secondary belt but I don't think WWE see's him THE guy. It would either be Cena, Bryan, Punk, or Batista. Cena and Bryan aren't in, so that leaves Punk or Batista, which I'm voting Batista.

I agree, but the question here is whether WWE realizes it. I do think Sandow will have multiple title runs before his time is up though.

I disagree and cast my vote with Punk. Batista isn't here to win championships. Or at least he shouldn't be.
I highly disagree with your opinion on Damien also. He's on Raw and Smackdown almost on a weekly basis, filling positions that could easily be given to the likes of Primo. They clearly trust the man's abilities, he's a go-to guy, whether they need somebody in the ring or on the mic.
They shoved him into a mini feud with Ziggler that was based around the two men beating each other with musical instruments, among other objects, and they delivered. It's all about finding that spot in which they can catapult him to the main event. Del Rio won the 2011 royal rumble and he was light years behind Sandow, there's no reason Damien couldn't win it unless they plan on keeping Orton the champion until Wrestlemania.
*EDIT*
I need to either start quoting or type faster, though the latter would result in horrific spelling so it would appear that the former would be the best option.

I agree, but I beg to differ.
Sorry. I couldn't help it.
Yeah, he's supposedly going to face Triple H at 'Mania, so... That should be suckage. No, that doesn't need to be rephrased, I mean exactly what it says.
