It was quite a bit of fun free modding yesterday.
First I got a semi and this dude started following me, and ended up helping me get a Simian car by fighting off the cops for me.
Later on a tacked down this bounty guy. The guy stopped at LSC over on the dock side of town, I stopped on the bridge. I took out my sniper, he took out his sniper, we both lined up, bang, double kill. We re-spawn, I run for my semi, buddy spawns on the bridge I was running up. Buddy takes out sniper again, I take out carbine rifle. I start shooting, dude misses first couple shots, on his third shot, double kill again. lol
Later on I snipes the buddy that helped me to get a 7k bounty. lol

It does. I'll be looking for it. They did say that it would be sometime in the spring, so I'm guessing some point in April. It's subjective, but May and June are generally considered summer months.

Ah that sucks, I saw you on earlier and thought of inviting you but I wasn't sure if you were actually coming on to play or if it was even you because of that whole scenario. If you see us again you should let us know, we can call you into our game.
Justin, do you remember that Extradition mission going badly and taking a while? I wanted to write but while I was in the process my game froze. I keep forgetting that the PS3 isn't powerful enough to play a game AND allow me to use its messaging system at the same time.
Well anyway what happened is this: Pat and I were waiting to blow up the limo and once you blew up the jet to make it appear, I went speeding at it so fast that I knocked it into the air and it actually fell back onto its roof. It sat there upside down which distracted me for a few seconds, and then I saw that it hadn't actually exploded (I guess my sticky bomb must have missed), so then I threw another and blew it up. It exploded but the red dot stayed on my map, right there by me, and I was confused until I happened to noticed that in the process of the limo flipping over the driver actually had actually GOTTEN OUT and started to run away down the highway, something I'd never seen before.
I ran him down but by now cops were on us so I told Pat, who hadn't fired a shot and didn't have a wanted level, that he should go ahead and grab the case. I jumped out of my car and told him to just take off in it, it's super fast so he can get away and I'd just stay back and sacrifice myself by taking out as many cops as I could. But after they killed me, the game made my car disappear and suddenly Pat was out in the open with cops all over him, and now he had a wanted level too (for stealing my car maybe? I dunno). So the whole thing was a mess- I was out and spectating, and now he was trying to run away with the case.
He got down into the swamp and I guess you caught up with him around this time. You told him to get in the jet but he didn't want to because he can't land. He figured that if he flew to Martin's and parachuted, he'd get another wanted level after the jet crashed. So that's just what wound up happening to you anyway!
Lol it was a crazy clusterfuck of a mission, full of things I'd never experienced before. But we passed, and it was fun. Almost as fun as that offroad super shortcut in Satellite Communications!

I can't wait to try heists. People online been saying it's supposed to be like the offline job where different players has different roles to take part in. That sounds pretty awesome.

The Titan ran down the run way, failed to lift off and crashed itself lol). So yea after losing 4 star I landed on the swamp and offered Howard the jet, but he didn't take and was shot by cops. So I ran to his location, got the briefcase and ran back to the jet. Didn't theft a police car cause police was all around. I then flew Martin's, parachute out and landed in a near by garden with tall grass walls around. I got a 2 star cop I think for crashing the jet, but I just hid in the garden and they couldn't find me. After losing them I ran to the checkpoint and passed the mission. |

I don't know how to invite or join or anything though Also, do you have to be in the crew to play with them or what is that for? There some things I noticed you needed a crew for. Anyways, I may not be on tonight because I'm going to the wrestling show tonight (though I may have time afterwards, I don't know yet), but I'll definitely try to be on tomorrow. |

No, you don't need to be on a crew to play the game together, you just need to be on each others' friend list so one can invite the other into the session. At the moment being on a crew simply increases the cash payouts and RP (experience points) when you play together.
Next time we're in a game and I see you I can send you an invite, it's done through the game's pause > friends menu. After I do it you get a PSN message that you can confirm which sends you directly into the session.

I do have a shit-ton of money. Every now and then one participant of a mission is awarded double the cash payout for reasons I've never been able to understand. It rarely ever happens to me but I've got enough money that I honestly don't really care.  I used to joke about "2KFC" because yes, while it stands for "2K Forum Crew" (I think Justin or Tom came up with it), I always thought that it suggested "To Kentucky Fried Chicken!" I tend to play from around now, or maybe an hour or so from now, and stay on anywhere between 3-6 hours. In other words when I'm on it's usually from around maybe 6pm to midnight central US time. I'm pretty sure that I'll be on tonight, probably in only a little while. I'll be out tomorrow but I don't really have anything going on tonight. |
