... yeah, you clearly have no idea what good wrestling looks like. Puts you in good company though, the vast majority of modern wrestling fans don't have a clue either. So is good wrestling a diving salute headbutt? ??
is good wrestling eye pokes, chops, slaps and The Cobra........??
that's his repertoire......in his current gimmick anyway........never saw him in OVW or FCW whichever he came up through.......
If you think that's his entire repertoire, you're just proving my point. You wrote him off and never actually watched him work. |

... pretty sure he was responding to my point about The Cobra vs. Socko Even if he weren't, I would still be right and you would still be wrong. Santino is well-recognized as one of the more talented guys that the company had on the midcard in the time before the midcard got choked up with a bunch of talented workers who can't move up because; Cena & Punk. |

Actually, I was saying that I can't argue what Knight was saying about there being no difference between the Cobra and Mr. Socko. I think Santino is quite good in terms of wrestling. |

... the first one is a 5 minute beatdown by Swagger, a large portion of which the camera isn't even on the ring. The second clearly demonstrates that Santino is a master showman and one of the top sellers in the industry. And is ALSO little more than a beatdown by Swagger. Do you seriously not comprehend that wrestling is more than just how many moves you have in your offensive repertoire? Quick question; how many name-identifiable, different moves have you seen Bryan or Punk use in their recent matches? |

As much as the IWC likes to ignore it, Punk was instrumental in holding down a lot of talented workers over the past 2 1/2 years. I'm not saying he wanted it that way or that he tried to do it, only that because the WWE put everything on Punk & Cena, they didn't really try to build anyone else. Even ADR, whom the WWE seemingly has a hardon for pushing no matter how much the fans despise him, was only ever really near the top as much as he was because Cena and/or Punk was otherwise distracted. Look at the list of contenders in that time. Not a one of them has anything going on right now, except Daniel Bryan. |
