I've pretty much always enjoyed Jericho until his sparkly jacket return. I thought it was good at first but he really wasn't able to capture my attention like in the past.

That's surprising to hear, I thought you hated Bret Que? He's my favorite wrestler of all time. He's a douchesack in real life, apparently, but that didn't stop him from being an incredible performer. Wait! You like him over Flair, HHH AND Mr. Perfect?! This is news to me...

Bret, Own, and Curt would be my short list, though I'm sure I could come up with several more guys if I really thought about it.
IMO, there was a time when Jericho had the best possible combination of attributes. He was charismatic, athletic, skilled, and passionate. When the passion went, the rest stopped mattering, and eventually turned ugly. For me at least. Every time he comes back it's like a slap in the face.

He certainly does seem to have more passion for music nowadays.

You like him over Flair, HHH AND Mr. Perfect?! This is news to me... Bret Hart is unquestionably my favorite professional wrestler of all time. He's the reason I'm a fan today. Without him, I would have walked away forever. I really like HHH and Perfect (for totally different reasons), but I'm not even that big of a fan of Flair. I think he was incredible in his day, but I'm not personally a fan, I just think people should respect what he was able to do. I'm more of a fan of Steamboat than I ever have been of Flair.

But in the FAVORITE not GREATEST Wrestlers Thread, Flair was in the 4 others being HHH, Bret and Henning, while Steamboat wasn't in the list at all, lol. That's why I said that.

I ignored that and chose to focus on the fact that he didn't say Brock Lesnar. Cup half full and all of that.

My top ten: (note: I've only been watching since 2004 so I'll only count from then. Though, I do need to go back and check out things before and from what I've heard I really want to check out WCW.)
1. Edge 2. Christian 3. Chris Jericho 4. Chris Benoit 5. Dolph Ziggler 6. Damien Sandow 7. Dean Ambrose 8. Shelton Benjamin 9. Kurt Angle 10. Muhammad Hussan
Honerable mention: Charlie Haas

I must have been high. Or something. My list changes from time to time but I'm honestly not sure why I would have said Flair. Maybe I'd been watching a lot of old Flair matches. That guy could really go, in his prime.

I agree, but if you're out and about in the wrestling world, you're going to run into a lot of people who put guys like Austin and Hogan at #1

I'm not going to agree with all of anybodies top 10, I can guarantee that LOL It's just nice to see Benjamin get some love. I mean, I think Sandow is the best thing going on in WWE right now... and I don't think he belongs on a top 10 list.

Top 10 (off my head, don't judge me too harshly) not in order: 1. Bret Hart 2. Owen Hart 3. HBK (Knight is most to likely explain why everything is wrong with this). 4. Sting 5. Harley Race 6. Bob Backlund 7. Cody Rhodes 8. Roman Reigns 9. Booker T 10. HHH
Honorable Mention: Jake Roberts

before I got in to wrestling he was the BIG name I had heard of........hence his placement on my list.....
and in his youth he could have above average matches (Austin vs. Owen anyone???)

The match where Owen inadvertently caused an average level wrestler to become a straight up crappy wrestler?

HHH by the way, will never touch my top ten......
his ring work is notoriously overrated.....and his mic skills are above average to be kind......to be honest Eddie Guerrero ranks higher to me....
and I forgot HBK replace the Rock with him
