My list has been posted several times & Not once was it about in-ring talent or the wrestler as a person outside the ring, It's always about who I found more entertaining to watch.. Honestly If I had to make a top 10 based on In-ring talent alone, Very few on MY personal top 10 list would be featured. I agree. Piper never would have made my list if it was based on in ring talent.

They'd not make my Top 10 in-ring list LOL

Sometimes it's very hard for me to be objective on certain guys. Though if you gave me a day, I could have my 10 ten based on ring talent with complete objectivity and with plenty of examples to back up the claim.

I base most of my favorites off and in ring talent and entertainment they gave me. For example, Edge is my favorite but I don't think he's the best in-ring talent. I think he's good but I loved his whole heel run from 2005-2011. He was a face a few times toward the latter years but I loved his heel stuff. I don't necessarily think Christian is the best in-ring talent either. Like Edge, he's good, but I really enjoyed the things I saw of E&C and I also liked Christian's Captain Charisma gimmick.
I won't flat out dislike a guy if they suck though unless they and aren't entertaining at all. I don't think Eddie is particularly that good in the ring but I found him comical and always liked the guy and never really found him boring. Same with HBK.

My Top 10 changes quite alot also.
I don't remember who is on my most recent list.
Bret Hart, HBK, Owen Hart, Cody Rhodes and HHH are the only consistent Top 10 members.

Sweet cheesecake, somebody remembers Muhammad Hassan.
I can give you a personal top ten of guys I absolutely loved to watch perform, but if we're trying to break this all down to find the best wrestler of all time, I'll leave you guys with a ballot for The Repo-Man.

Even on entertainment value... sorry, but Eddie was more hype than delivery. For WWE to act like he was the first guy ever to use the old "he hit me with a chair, DQ him!" thing was as ridiculous as them claiming they'd invented the ladder match, and his most famous gimmick, that "Lie, Cheat, Steal" BS was nothing more than Ric Flair's dirtiest player in the game gimmick... BUT MEXICAN!
I just... I'm sorry I just don't get it. Very few guys define "overrated" as well as Eddie Guerrero, as far as I'm concerned. Sadly, I actually liked the guy, I think he was a pretty entertaining guy... but the hype for him just disgusts me.

That's a great list. You should check out some old Superstar Billy Graham and Nick Bockwinkel promos. Those guys were great. The first promo ever I ever heard that really blew me away was Superstar Billy Graham.
Oh, and Jesse Ventura was a great talker as well.

Eddie was very good until he packed on so much mass..needless mass, i will add. He could wrestle, and I don't want to take that away from him. I just don't see putting him on a list with Bret, Owen, Hennig... or even Flair, for that matter. Heck, IMO he wasn't even the greatest of the Guerreros. Mando was the best technician, and Chavo was a better straight up wrestler than Eddie.

I really like Jesse Ventura for the same reasons Mike does. He has character without being too much. I check those ones out. I also believe that Scott Steiner's pre-1996 promos were excellent compared to his modern ones. He had NO charisma, but he got to the point quick, instead of ranting and bitching about other people's weight.

Man... obviously it's subjective but I disagree with you. If you're talking about guys in the modern age (remembering that these guys are mostly young), I think it's a very solid list, and Jake the Snake??? You don't think Jake belongs on a top 5 list for ANY time period? The Snake was, for me, entirely different. I love that he didn't shout and he didn't make stupid puns out of his opponents names... he just looked at the camera with icewater in his veins and talked about what he was going to do to the guy. Just.. awesome.

IMO, 2 out of those 3 are really good promo men, and even Edge is better than you're giving him credit for being 8)
