I didn't read past #1, lol. That was just....WRONG. He influenced a generation (even more so than Hogan)
before I got in to wrestling he was the BIG name I had heard of........hence his placement on my list.....
and in his youth he could have above average matches (Austin vs. Owen anyone???)
He inspired me to take a dump....that's about how influential he was. Hulk Hogan was big in the business before I got into wrestling. I still don't like him. Nope. Nope. NO.

He influenced a generation (even more so than Hogan) [/p]
No, he didn't. Show me these young wrestlers who, when asked why they got into wrestling, say "Stone Cold!" You'll get names like Undertaker, HBK, Hart... nobody is going to say Stone Cold because as much as they might have liked him when they were 12, they recognize that they learned absolutely nothing from watching him, except how to waste 3/4s of a can of beer. [/p] before I got in to wrestling he was the BIG name I had heard of........hence his placement on my list.....
So "temporary pop culture icon" = "great wrestler", in your book? [/p] and in his youth he could have above average matches (Austin vs. Owen anyone???)
A stuffed giraffe could have had great matches with Owen. Austin at his best was a mediocre worker.

We're BACK!
Anyway, had this been a year ago HBK would have been on my list but not any more though he's probably still in my top 20, maybe 15.
I also completely forgot about Punk for some reason. He'd be pretty high on my list too. Maybe #9. I like him better than Angle.

HBK has a special quality. I don't know what it is, because in terms of actual ringwork he's overrated, but there was a "spark".... particularly after he came back from his "retirement" HBK just reaches people, somehow. Not me, because I'm not that big of a fan, but some people.
... he'd still probably make my top 20 though.

Stone Cold inspired me to want to offer Stone Cold fans beer... and then kick them in the gut when they drank.

HHH by the way, will never touch my top ten...... his ring work is notoriously overrated.....and his mic skills are above average to be kind......to be honest Eddie Guerrero ranks higher to me.... and I forgot HBK replace the Rock with him I remember when I was like you, not too long ago... I used to be an HHH, listened to a Bret Hart shoot on him and deludedly hated on him. Eventually, I saw the light. Maybe you will too...

Durn! I forgot about Orton too. He'd probably be #10 on my list. Pushing Angle to #11, Hassan to #12, and Haas to #13

Eddie Guerrero in the top 10 *vomits*
I'm pretty sure back on the old THQ boards I was challenged to come up with a list of 30 workers better than Eddie and I did so without even having to look up any archives.

Well again for me, he was the wrestler I connected with for years, that entertained me throughout his matches. Clearly its personal, but for me, he made me have fun with wrestling.

My list has been posted several times & Not once was it about in-ring talent or the wrestler as a person outside the ring, It's always about who I found more entertaining to watch..
Honestly If I had to make a top 10 based on In-ring talent alone, Very few on MY personal top 10 list would be featured.

I like Eddie Guerrero but he doesn't fit in my top 15. Maybe top 20. Maybe.
