I want to go back and watch that feud now. Quick googling has revealed that not only are some matches online, they were voted feud of the year.

Ah the Von Erichs... I wasn't even watching the company they worked for and I knew them as a kid, so they must have been special. Or something. My earliest memory of the Von Erichs was when I swore that The Texas Tornado was the guy who secretly replaced the dead Ultimate Warrior. |

My memory is that yes that was a good feud but I haven't seen it in ages. ahhhh. i thought he was referring to a wwe dvd rewriting the history of the angle..anywho, there is tons of matches on youtube. many of which is ok quality at best. treat yourself to the Michael Hayes promos, they were excellent.. |

I've gotta be honest. I hate everything about the Freebirds. They were mediocre wrestlers and, sorry, I don't get "brilliant promo" from Hayes. I get "dude who honestly believes that he's amazing, but still can't make me give a rats ass" Literally the only positive thing I can say about Michael Hayes is "boy.... he sure did appear very briefly in The Highlander, and I'm a fan of The Highlander."
Lots of shouting. All I can think of when I watch that promo is this;
... except that Brick would crush Michael Hayes in an IQ test.
