well if the fans show up expecting to see Punk based solely on the "reporting" of meltzer then they deserve to be let down..

Whatever. I wash my hands of this. i never buy into anything involving meltzer..if he turns out to be right, it's in spite of him, not because of him..

This is going to be interesting. I still say the roster was flourishing without Punk.

If Punk comes back and this all winds up being more or less a work then the WWE is even more full of s*** than I thought they were. That's some desperate Vince Russo type of crap. I agree. Utter nonsense. And it's going to be perceived as a work whether it really is or not. Even if Punk really did walk off in a huff, WWE is making a mistake to let him come back so quickly, because whatever they do with him, this is going to be perceived as them manipulating us. If this is Punk, I kind of foresee this being a setup for some kind of big "surprise" alteration to the WM30 card

It's not Meltzer, it's the whole thing. "Oh, Punk really did leave. At least we're pretty sure he did but he's probably not too pissed to come back. But we're not entirely 100 percent sure. But we think we can believe the WWE employee who is. But then Punk might come back for Wrestlemania. But we penciled in Daniel Bryan so now we might put Punk in his place instead. But either way Punk's not winning. But we're not sure if Batista is either because it depends on if Punk comes back and who Triple H is fighting." Fucking happy heaping Christ in a chicken basket. Meltzer, Punk, WWE, get your fucking shit together.

Not seeing Punk on Raw is a bit refreshing. We get to see more of Cesaro which is a good thing if you ask me.

I was over Punk months ago, so obviously his leaving was a breath of fresh air to me and his return is unwelcome.

If he does come back for that then he should have stayed gone.

Precisely. Whether it's a work or not the timing of his absence, compounded by this potential Wrestlemania return, would do nothing but encourage the belief that it is. If I were the WWE I'd be doing everything in my power to AVOID making this whole thing look like a stupid ratings / buyrate stunt. And at this point, honestly- if Punk DID leave legitimately, and his potential return IS causing WWE to scramble to accommodate him, then fuck him for causing all of this chaos on the card.

That's stupid... I see the business position, but I'd never sign the man again. How can I trust that he won't just walk off right before the match at mania? I can't this whole thing is so stupid.

If it was legit then whatever the reason for his walkout, too bad buddy, you lost your spot. Take your place at the end of the line.

But we all know some people can do anything Stone Cold, Hogan, Punk, Rock etc. And I for one would be upset if he caused all of this chaos just to get put in the same match he was supposed to be in from the beginning (vs HHH).

WWE should have learned by now that catering to prima donnas is how they end up where they were in the early 90's and at the end of the AE, scrambling around to try to save themselves from their own stupidity.

We've been watching, we just don't agree with you. One of the best aspects of this era in wrestling, for me at least, is a very high overall quality of ringwork.
