Everybody and their grandmother will see batman vs superman first.

Both of those films have the same release date? Good lord.

Everybody and their grandmother will see batman vs superman first. Unfortunately this is a likely probability. However far less people are likely to come out of Captain America 3 throwing bricks at cars in absolute rage.

Cap gets my vote. Both of those films have the same release date? Good lord. Yeah, but you have to realize that it's so far away, that it's bound to change. I just thought "Marvel has real heroes, DC has interesting Villains" (insinuating that Batman's not a real hero) was funny, lol.

Let's be realistic, BvS will annihilate Captain America 3 if they're released on the same day. I have nothing against Cap (in fact, what little I know of the character appeals to me) but it's just common sense.
Why split the market anyway? I foresee CA3 changing its release date by then for sure.

Superman vs. Batman has had bad reception everywhere it has been talked about (even though I disagree with some of the complaints).

Dc movie still has batman and superman appearing together on one film. The #1 and #2 superheroes in the planet. Even non comic book fans are gonna see it cause it IMO is just as big as the avengers movie

Captain America hasn't really established itself as a blockbuster franchise whereas both Batman and Superman have. In addition, despite the pre-release grumblings, you can bet that millions of people will see BvS based on the novelty of seeing the two characters in the same film. That alone is enough to give it the top spot.
I have no allegiance either way, I'm just calling it as I see it.

All of the comic book fans are hating on it, while they're all loving what Cap is bringing to the table. I'm sure all fans will watch both if they like Comic books, but winning on opening day? I foresee Cap winning, especially if they can pull off something extravagant. Eisenburg Snyder Affleck The idea of having Batman in the superman sequel The idea of having Wonder Woman in the superman sequel Gadot All of that has been has been criticized highly (and are all huge parts of the film), while (even though nothing has really been announced for Cap 3 yet), Cap's series has had pretty good reception all around.

Batman (well, at least the one in this movie) has no status of being a blockbuster franchise and Man of Steel had mixed reception....

Man Of Steel looked awful.... Every Marvel and DC Movie to be released over the past 10 or so years has appealed to me, Man Of Steel was the first to not appeal to me in anyway.
That said, Cap 1 Bored the shit right out of my ass (yeah, I shit myself I was that bored) and I'm a Batman fan. That said, Cap 2 from what I've seen looks amazing and the entire Avengers franchise at this point in time I've enjoyed like no other movie franchise before.
So basically what I'm saying right now is I'll probably check out Cap 3 in the theaters and I'll just watch Batman/Superman on DVD if my brother chooses to get it as there is no way in hell I'm going to spend my money on seeing that movie.

To be fair, I don't plan on watching either in theaters. I hate people. I hate people in dark rooms. I hate people in dark rooms while I'm trying to watch a movie. I hate people in dark rooms while I'm trying to watch a movie and they're loud as fuck. I hate people in dark rooms while I'm trying to watch a movie and they're loud as fuck either talking, laughing, or slowly grabbing some sort of food out of whatever hidden contraption they have (which is usually even worse when they're TRYING to be quiet and sticking their hands in bags of chips).
I hate theaters too.

I hate theaters too. I also hate all of those things, Which Is why I usually go to the theater so see a movie when it's been out for a while, Because then that screen room is near on empty and everyone is sat on their loud as fuck fat asses watching the latest movie that got released that day in one of the other rooms.
