But Bret renter sucks and I refuesed to believe he is still around. I was watching drunken master the other day I love it. I agree that Ratner is basically crap, but I actually enjoyed the first Rush Hour, so... whatever. Anyway, I love pretty much any martial arts movie with Bruce Lee. I'm not as high on Jackie Chan as some of you; slapstick is... well, instead of going on a rant, I'll simply say that I don't enjoy slapstick the way some of you guys do, and Jackie Chan has made very few movies that don't rely almost entirely on slapstick to drive them. I also like most of the Jason Statham action flicks. I don't know where he learned to fight, but his fight scenes are absolutely fantastic. |

As a kid jet li was my guy still my guy due to nostalgic purposes. I have the up most respect for Bruce lee cause he is godfather of martial arts and I'm gonna marathon all his stuff on Netflix. The one was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Not a great movie in any sense but It's fun and had double the li. |

I like Jet Li too. He's really more of an acrobat than a fighter, but he makes amazing fight scenes. The One was pretty entertaining.

That'd be the one (no pun intended). I love the base concept, but it needs a good writer to do more with it than just a generic actioner. I'm actually surprised that, with all of the "layered reality" stories out there, nobody has really explored the concept the way The One did. You're a writer soon... get on that. |

The one really is fantastic idea for a movie. Hurry soon make that movie before Nolan gets the idea and over complicates it

Animating anything is a pain in the ass, I can only imagine what a fight scene must be like. I just assume that all the animators must be clinically insane. I tend to cut animated action some more slack, as long as it holds my interest, it's fine.
I swear I saw something recently that wasn't an anime though. Wish I could remember what
EDIT: Fuck... I think it was just that stupid Mortal Kombat movie.
