I agree with copyright laws. I don't agree with biased enforcement of those laws though. Honest curiosity- what do you define as "biased enforcement"? Only enforcing the laws when the videos are negative to the product. One could post significantly more scenes from a movie/game so long as the general tone of the video is positive towards the film/game and it would be far less likely to be shut down than a critique of a film/game that is overall negative, especially if it is to an extreme degree.

As a writer, I have a very different take on copyright law than you do, apparently. CinemaSins is what I would call a "technical violator" in that the rules they are breaking are there for a very good reason, but what CinemaSins is doing has nothing to do with those reasons. Regardless, I fully support a businesses sovereign right to protect it's own property, both intellectual and physical. I agree with copyright laws. I don't agree with biased enforcement of those laws though. Right. Because it's up to you to decide where and when a law is properly enforced. That's how laws work.

Do you have any idea how subjective that is?

Do you have any idea how subjective that is? Eh, I suppose it is... A couple of things for consideration... One INTENDED PURPOSE of copyright law is to protect intellectual properties. That means that it is well within the original and understood purpose of copyright laws to use them to deflect criticism. Specifically; why should a reviewer be able to cherry pick the worst moments of a movie or game and show them to the public as if they demonstrate the entirety of the product? Of course the publishing companies are much more concerned with seeing to it that unflattering material is removed. Why on earth would they not be? Second of all, due to having worked in publishing, I personally know people whose job is to protect the copyrighted material of their employer. These guys work 10 hours a day looking for things that might need attention higher up the chain, and for most of them, they're not even the final say. Above them is a lawyer or legal clerk who makes the final decision as to whether they'll file a complaint/report. The lower end guys are making upwards of $15 an hour. I have a friend that makes roughly $34 an hour to look around just facebook for things that might affect the publisher he works for (he's not hourly, but that's a pretty good estimate of what he's making per hour). Given the labor cost involved, what would YOU prefer that your people focus on? The harmless, or the harmful?

No but that is on my list as well as fist of legend Is Fist of Legend that one Jet Li movie where he finds out his master died then goes to his former school to find out that the school's banner was stolen before eventually finding out that his master was poisoned in which he then goes and beats up a general that is for some reason a super soldier?

I love how you say that as if it's a noble thing. Those shows exist solely as propaganda. They have no other intended purpose. Let's put this on it's ear for a second. Imagine I just told you "no, I don't agree with Hitler... I watch Nazi war films because they had great production and writing..." (which is true, btw, Hitler employed some of the best cinematographers of the era). ... that aside, I would strongly disagree with specific regard to The West Wing anyway. The writing on that show was third rate.
