They are both equally terrible in different ways. The first ones script is so fucking pathetic. So cringe worthy. The second movie is directed bye same guys who made the crank movies and it's utter craptastic, they both have nic cage in it. At least the first one has sam Elliot and Peter Fonda.

The first one is more faithful to the comics in some ways but the second one try's to tell its own new shit story

I'm pretty sure Ian McKellen has said similar, if not the same thing before I agree that it will probably be trash, but not because of that quote, lol. ... and the LotR AND X-Men movies WERE trash. So.. You have said on multiple occasions that you like some of them, have you not?

You can like something that you think is garbage. I like Lego games, and they're garbage.

... and the LotR AND X-Men movies WERE trash. So.. LotR wasn't trash... It just strayed a lot from the source material. You're right, it wasn't trash... but it wasn't all that great, either. I used to count that trilogy as amongst my favorite movies of all time. Re-watched them, barely made it through. So much of the "acting" is really half-assed. I loved Gimli the first time around, but when I rewatched, I realized that he's actually really overplaying everything to the point of obnoxiousness, and Orlando Bloom just can't act at all. Viggo Mortensen is underwhelming as the leader of the free peoples. The two auxiliary Hobbits and Gandalf give pretty good performances though.

X3, Wolverine: Origins, and First Class were horrendous mockeries of everything I love about the X-Men. The Wolverine and Days of Future Past were cute popcorn flicks. On the balance, the series is garbage.

I at least had some fun with the first GR, the second was the most god-awful piece of shit I've ever seen.
Hated X1, thought X2 was okay, disliked X3, absolutely despised Origins, liked First Class, adored The Wolverine and DOFP.

I don't remember the first Ghost Rider. I turned off the second when Nicholas Cage was having spasms on his motorcycle with the dumbest facial expressions known to man.

The rider is just weird in the second one. The direction is crap too.

I've never got the hate for Cage, lol. He can be a pretty good actor. Not saying he always is, but as Abed put it, it's a mystery with no answer. Sometimes he's awesome. Other times he's in the Wicker Man.

Other times he's in the Wicker Man. Nic cage is a good actor. The problem is nic cage directs himself now a days. Same with Bruce Willis his star shines to bright he feels he doesn't have to take orders from no one cause people will see their movies cause of the name attached

Nicholas Cage is a charisma vacuum. The best way I can describe him is "Toby Maguire Peter Parker."

Nicholas Cage is a charisma vacuum. The best way I can describe him is "Toby Maguire Peter Parker." I laughed. Cage has been in some good movies, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's a good actor. I can't honestly say I've ever saw him in anything and thought "wow, that character wasn't EXACTLY like Nicholas Cage." He used to pick good scripts though. Art stuff like Raising Arizona, action stuff like Face/Off, he had a knack for getting into projects that let his natural insanity work for him. I really don't think he's cut out to be a leading man though, and that's part of the problem.
