I find that the ones who support them are WAAAY more defensive than them themselves. In fact, most gays I've met are pretty passive about defending their stance.

I try to be as nice as possible to them, because as I said, being mean only makes them do one of two things 1. Be more gay 2. Suicide "Be more gay?" What does that mean? Do they suddenly will themselves to like their own sex more? Do they suddenly go out and have sex with more of their own sex? No, they don't. I'm assuming you mean they publicize their sexuality more, especially in events like gay parades.

Be careful about how you phrase things next time. The way you phrased it made you seem very ignorant.

Everything else I say DOESN'T make me seem ignorant? I didn't say that, now did I? You are right, though. The worst we could do is make ourselves look like bigots and idiots, just fueling the fire for the liberal media.

*quotes the Bible* "BIGOT!!!!" Can you blame them. A lot of stupid Christians really are bigots so it seems logical to assume such if you've never read a piece of Christian literature.

*quotes the Bible* "BIGOT!!!!" Not everyone agrees with the Bible. Don't expect it to be a good defense against those who would call you a bigot, unless they actually claim to be Christians. Of course it's still a hypocritical statement, the thing is most people don't care.

What I don't understand is, according to the way society works now, everyone is entitled to their belief unless they are Christian.
To address the Christians that are bigots, They are simply not true Christians.

Everyone's a bigot according to someone. Is someone a bigot to everyone? No. No matter how despicable, racist, or bigiotric someone might be, there is someone out there that agrees with them.

Well, That's not exactly what I meant. Once again, I should have worded that better. I meant that the U.S. seems to accept everyone of most cultures and religions, and when they speak their mind, we should respect what they believe. However, if a Christian does so, they're a bigot. That's how it is in most places I've been to at least.

To address the Christians that are bigots, They are simply not true Christians. “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you.” - John 15:18-20 “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" - 2 Timothy 3:12 "Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life." - Revelation 2:10 "An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked. " - Proverbs 29:27
