Well, That's not exactly what I meant. Once again, I should have worded that better. I meant that the U.S. seems to accept everyone of most cultures and religions, and when they speak their mind, we should respect what they believe. However, if a Christian does so, they're a bigot. That's how it is in most places I've been to at least. Not Indiana. We are awesome like that. Btw, Illinois corn is better.

A lot of people I've met are rather prejudiced against Muslims. "Goddamn towelheads" is a frequently used phrase 'round these parts.

A lot of people I've met are rather prejudiced against Muslims. "Goddamn towelheads" is a frequently used phrase 'round these parts. This is a POV problem. I guarantee you witness loads of anti-Christian venom every day. It doesn't bother you, so you don't see it. The Simpsons... the $#@!ing Simpsons, is one of the most outspokenly anti-Christian things on television. It's rare for an entire episode to go by without some kind of cheap crack at Christians, which of course you're going to be inclined to simply say "oh you don't have a sense of humor..." But the problem is that it's going on all the time, every single day, and Christians have no forum to respond. Contrary-wise, South Park did ONE episode where they wanted to show an image of Mohammed, and it started off a crapstorm the likes of which will never be forgotten.

And yet they have Jesus brutally murdered every week on South Park...

My sister is a hardcore Atheist, my mother is Catholic. That should tell you how many religious arguments I hear.

It's because christians are... seen by many as a part of the political climate as well. This is partly why they are the most targeted faith based group. There has a lot of things been said about gays in this thread. My take is I don't condemn or say anything like I'll pray for your soul. Personally I don't think it's right, as I don't go to those that practice various sins and do the same thing. It's just the most conscious one beyond killing, in the country.
So for me I say nothing. I have no problem with Gays or their lifestyle. It's not my business and sadly I sin, so I can't throw stones. Hell I don't even disagree with their lifestyle, that's between God and them.

Christians as a group are catered to politically. Which leads to hate, which leads to faith based targeting. Secondly, I cannot condemn a person that is gay. For various reasons, but I find telling someone you'll pray for them because you don't agree with your life style rude. Not only that it's generally only done to the Homosexual communities when there is plenty of sin that can be seen.
