D&D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP SCREAMING AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need D&D! Seriously, I've been asked to do it as there are apparently D&D group get togethers every Wednesday at the local comic book shop ("local" in my case means 1 hour away, lol). There are two things stopping me. Gas money and they told me they play advanced D&D, which I don't eve know regular D&D, so it won't work, lol. In fact, I didn't even know there was advanced D&D until they told me about it. SO, NO. I WON'T STOP YELLING AT YOU, EX-MOD! |

Anyone who likes wrestling and peruses internet forums really shouldn't throw stones. What if we're roleplaying ancient times where people were punished by throwing stones at them?  |

Once you have the basics it's pretty simple. A single play through will have you well in hand for most stuff, from a player point of view anyway. |

When does the full version actually come out (I saw that you said it comes out in July, and that's when you wanted to try the game)? The Starter Set comes out next week. The full version of the players rules (the Players Handbook) won't be out until August |

For summer my schedule is basically open except Tuesday nights and some Saturdays during the day (relative to my timezone), and Sunday before 2PM, but it gets more constricted when school starts up again and I'm taking my kids to and from, etc. During the school year I can basically do 9 AM - 2 PM any weekday (the time between when I get home from dropping off, and the time when I have to leave to pick them back up), or late night (9PM or later) Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday or some time on Saturdays (but I would have to miss certain weeks due to my class schedule), or Sundays pretty much any time after 2 PM. |

How long does one game last, may I ask? Ideally you want a minimum of 2 hours per session, I prefer something in the 4 hour area, just because players tend to BS and goof around a lot, so in reality you only get about half of that time to actually play (although we all BS here plenty, so maybe that won't be as much of an issue). It really depends on how much you want to get done/how fast you want the Campaign to progress. |
