im really loving Sam Alexander lately. I hope the rumors are true and efron plays him Nope. They've already revealed that Nova in the MCU will be Richard Ryder, and he'll be played by Nathan Fillion. Furthermore, Sam Alexander is 15 $#@!ing years old. Why on earth would he be played by a 26 year old actor??? Same reason 31 year old andrew garfeild played a 17 year old Peter Parker, with movie makeup I'm sure efron could look like a high schooler. I thought they debunked the fillion-rider rumors. I know nothing of nathon fillion except he was on firefly |

No, I hope he has a long and successful career and I'd love to see him in a super hero movie... as an appropriate character, like young(er) Cyclops. He'd make a phenomenal Wonder Man (not that Marvel has any plans to put Wonder Man in the movies, despite his awesoneness). I just don't want to see him inappropriately cast as a character whose primary charm is that he's a naive kid who, unlike so many other heroes, is still amazed by the fact that suddenly he's super human and do some really cool stuff. Besides... one of Sam's defining characteristics is that he's half-Latino, and I'd hate to see them lose that element of the character. |

Uh... yeah, no disrespect to Captain Hammer, but I'll pass.
How old is Mr. Fillion anyway? None of the Novas were ever particularly old.
I haven't bothered looking into the new Ms Marvel, because the artwork irks me and the power is stupid to me.

Yeah the funny thing is, Ryder was also pretty young... maybe 30 when he died at the end of Annihilation, so about 13 years younger than Fillion 8), and Ryder was in his late teens when he started himself. |

Puberty was very difficult for them, believe me. But they had there popularity and accomplishments to cushion that blow......I did not |
