Aubrey eventually earned my respect for the hard work he put in... but he'll still always be the guy who insisted that John Cena was a great worker as far as I'm concerned 8) ...You know he'd get fired if he said he DIDN'T like Cena, right? What PSP said. The dude dropped in on a thread where some of us were bagging Cena and, with no preamble or pretext whatsoever, said something to the effect of "I think we can all agree that Cena is one of the best workers in the WWE right now." That is not a compulsory defense of the guy... that's a statement of respect. In case you haven't watched any of the videos, Aubrey is a fan of everybody. He's one of these relentlessly cheerful types that thinks everything it awesome. |

At the playtest I saw that the inferno match was still in and I audibly groaned. Aubrey was nearby and asked what was wrong to which I responded "The inferno match. I can't believe that's still in. It's terrible. Everybody HATES that match".
Aubrey was like "Not everybody hates it, some people want it in". Rather than jump up and yell "NAME FIVE OF THEM, RIGHT NOW" I kind of shrugged and cursed his positivity under my breath.

Normally I agree fully with Bane.. taking things out makes no sense. If you don't like it, don't play it... but if that's going to be the case with match types, then Universe Mode absolutely NEEDS an "include this match" checklist, because I never ever want an inferno match to pop up. At all.
(Actually I think that Universe Mode needs that checklist anyway... I'm sick of HiaC matches and Extreme Rules matches showing up on my Legends show on Universe)

This is going to be weird actually. Aubrey was the best community manager we had Sorry, I beg to differ... Aubrey had a smug arrogant attitude, telling consumers that reasons for broken glitches were because we weren't playing the game right... By all rights, the title of best CM so far goes to Marcus, he addressed issues, updated the twitter and newsfeeds constantly as well as went on other sites than just the thq ones. I invited aubrey to smacktalks when he first came on board and his answer was "i'm not interested in involving myself with any other forum than the thq boards" From that point i have not liked that guy period |

Guys good news, I'm taking over as community manager. They don't want me to move up to the US but rather work at a local 2K Office in Australia. I will miss Aubrey though, he was such a great guy, although, he never replied to my tweets. atleast you didn't get blocked like i did LOL and for what? Oh yeah complaining about the 1 count issue and aubrey move spamming on the live stream.. |
