Bane and I tried to get it as close to the 2K Sports forums. So far so good. Anyways, welcome RAWFShowtime.

Aubrey didn't know Jack s*** about wrestling or wwe, I personally thought he looked a cumbucket. I didn't like him Wow dude, don't hold back. Aubrey struck me as very knowledgeable about wrestling. He's an unabashed Bruiser Brody fan (in fact we were briefly discussing one of his biographies last week) and was riffing with one of the other guys about old-school NWA on several occasions during the playtest. The second face to face conversations we had involved him enthusiastically telling me how much he loved the Steve Austin show (which I'll try not to hold against him) and he calls the suplex a "soo-play" which is so old-school corny that I have to appreciate it. As I said on the 2K forums we had our differences in the past but it was a very classy move on his part to look past that and invite me to the playtest, a scenario that continued to help me look at him more objectively.

Aubrey to me was an ok guy, that was employed in a no win situation in terms of being a community manager. Especially for a game that has historically had bugs. This would be a job I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, just looking at some of the people that respond or go on tirades, or ask for the most ridiculous stuff.

I like Aubrey.....
He seems like he's changing his attitude (from what I've seen before by him personally) these past few days though. Here's some posts he has made that struck me as being rude and unprofessional (even if the person deserved it, which I don't know):

That shows me one he is leaving and why not give back to those that dog pile on. Two it shows me that there is likely to be no patch, but he can't say there won't be any patch as the info is not being released.
I digress, yes it just seems like he's let loose a bit, and honestly I don't blame the man. He takes a lot of flack. If I already had my next job lined up and this was it, I don't know how I'd respond.

Lol the latter two of his posts are pretty snarky, the first one's not so bad.
When I first met him I was initially put off by his more casual language (as we all were) and to be fair I can see how it can rub someone the wrong way. Having said that though everyone's got a breaking point and if someone kept ignorantly bitching to me about things that I couldn't control I'd eventually get sick of being polite to them too.
I wouldn't take any of this to mean that there won't be a patch, he honestly isn't in control of that kind of stuff. When I first had an issue with the game I emailed him about it and he said that he really didn't know, he explained that it wasn't his department and gave me a link to the 2K support site.

I'm just going to say this; I don't think people have been entirely fair to Aubrey. I understand being frustrated when someone is relentlessly cheerful in the face of a $#@!ed up situation, and yes, the past few years there have been some SERIOUS hiccups with the games and Aubrey has been pretty much at the forefront cheerleading those games... but that was his job. He strikes me as a perfectly nice guy, even though I don't have much use for nice guys

Aubrey is fine, I don't get the hate for him at all. It's misdirected anger towards him on the most part.

I was more so talking about the latter two, lol. The only reason I put the first one is to show what he was talking about.
