I have a question; why am I expected to believe that Woody Harrelson can act? He's $#@!ing terrible. Don't get me wrong, he's entertaining in some thing, but acting? Not on his best day. He's it good as a inbred gang leader of a bunch inbred meth heads So he's good as himself. Got it. 8)

I have to admit, the cast of Furnace does sound good. I like watching most of the people mentioned.
Woody Harrelson was good in The People vs. Larry Flynt, which I quite enjoyed, and was supposed to have been quite good in a film called "The Messenger" (not the Joan of Arc movie starring the Resident Evil chick) for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.

It's also about a black guy who isn't a slave during the Wild Western time era. Also Samuel L. Jackson is rich somehow as well. Well, for starters there were plenty of free black men in the U.S. at that time. Not a large percentage of the overall population, but there were still probably a few thousand running around Second of all, he's not technically free. He's the "property" of another bounty hunter per the deal they strike up. Finally, Jackson is the "house slave" of a rich man. He's not rich himself. There were, however, wealthy black men in the United States at that time. I assure you that there were no free black men at the time, and there most certainly weren't rich black men. I mean, why would my 3rd grade history teacher lie to me? What are you going to say next, that Columbus wasn't really the first person to land in America?

Haven't seen the movie but I still intend to, looks decent to me. I keep hearing that Inglorious Basterds is Tarantinoe's masterpiece (and his most restrained film) but that one was marketed too obnoxiously for me to be over it just yet.

Django was okay. Again, if not for the German guy, I don't think I could have even sat through it. That character was just so entertaining. Jamie Fox is wearing VERY thin with me, and the movie features a whole lot of Jamie Fox doing Jamie Fox-like things.
Inglorious Basterds was considerably more entertaining, to me at least.

No history teacher ever told me that there was a black mayor of a relatively sizable U.S. city at the time of the founding fathers, who was not only known to several of the luminaries of the period, he attended and hosted parties which they attended, etc, and George Washington considered him a personal friend... ... of course, no one talks about this, because this doesn't fit the narrative that was created after the Civil War about the history of race relations in the U.S.

Another guy who just does the same thing in everything. I think my favorite Brad Pitt movies of all time are both (pseudo) RomComs (The Mexican and Mr & Mrs. Smith). That says a lot about him as an actor.

He is unappreciated but he hasn't done much in the last 10 years his star has fallen quite a bit

Although one teacher showed a video showing that the first president was actually black. Of course the video used John Hanson, but displayed the following picture: I of course called him out on the fact that it was a black and white photo, and the man they were describing was from a time when painting was still quite popular. It was quite the hilarious incident, mainly because of how embarrassed the teacher was.

First rule of Fight Club; everyone has to love Fight Club even though it's an incredibly mediocre film!

I used to really like Pitt when he was in movies like Kalifornia. Now he's just the uber-liberal who's adopting hordes of children and talking to the president about foreign policy in between bouts of playing obnoxious characters and banging his wife who's made a career of doing roughly the same thing.

They're ridiculously liberal, but I give the Pitt-Jolies a pass on politics because they're both ardent supporters of the 2nd amendment.

I thought that Fight Club was fantastic- enthusiastically acted, grimly cynical, and with an ending I legitimately didn't expect. I dug the hell out of it. I just can't help that the Fight Club Fan Club slowly organized, took over the world, and made it everything that I hate.

The way I see it, if you understand why the right to keep and bear arms is so essential to liberty, you're always just one step away from realizing you want the Government to shut up and go away entirely.
