Do I read? I'll answer your question once I figure out what all those letters mean when they're all stuck together like that.
In all seriousness I read with regularity- whether it's skimming non-fiction on my Nook, browsing articles on Wikipedia or going back through one of my favorite old books about the wrestling or game industries- but I don't typically read "great literature" and I rarely immerse myself in the latest fiction so I don't really think any of the available choices quite apply to me.

Perhaps "Yeah, but only occasionally" would apply to you?

That's just it, it's not occasional- I read daily. I'm always browsing wikis and falling asleep reading on my Nook. But since I don't buy the newest biography and dedicate a week to finishing it I don't think a lot of people would consider me "a reader".

The last book I read was David Morrell's "First Blood" (upon which the movie was based) back in the spring. It was a great contrast to my habit of getting impatient / bored with fiction, I found it to be a thrilling and immediately engaging page-turner. Excellent book, far better than the movie (which I happen to love).

No, of course I don't read. I transcended reading years ago and am communicating with you guys through telepathy, you guys only think it's a forum as a mental defense mechanism.

I thought only I had figured out this was all telepathic.... Yes I read, Not daily and rarely fiction such as Harry Potter and LOTR.... In fact the only fiction book I've read in the past 5-6 years is "World War Z" By Max Brooks (Before World War Z the movie was announced), I'm still reading it now actually, I'll read it so occasionally that it'll range from once a week to twice a month. I mainly read Autobiography's, As I simply don't care to read fictional books. ^That is for books, But I'm similar to Mike, I'll spend all day reading stuff on wiki and what not.

Wouldn't that make all of us telepathic as well? In fact it would make our own telepathy more impressive because it would seem that our transcendence occurred without conscious effort.

^That is for books, But I'm similar to Mike, I'll spend all day reading stuff on wiki and what not. I think it's because, generally speaking, I prefer to learn about various facts and pop culture trivia than try to immerse myself in a story that I may just wind up losing interest in. Like movies, I'm extremely picky about what I'll sit down to read. It has to hit me at the right time. That's why sites like Wikipedia are such a favorite of mine- it's free, quick to access, and just as quick to digest. Literature can be deeply rewarding when it's done well, I just don't often have the patience to weed through what's out there to find the compelling stuff. I'd just as soon seek out facts about specific things that interest me.

I don't read at all, yet somehow I'm able to know what all of you are saying and I can also type back.
In all honestly, I do read some, but only when I have time. I've read around 16 or 17 Stephen King works.

Stephen King....probably one of the most liked authors of mine. Mine too. I love how he uses cameos of characters from other books in some of his novels. It Insomnia Bag of Bones and Needful Things are probably the top 4 that I've read.

I love Different Seasons (three fantastic drama / thrillers in that one), IT, Misery and The Dead Zone.
I can't say that I'm not still a fan of the zombie genre but my god am I fucking sick of it. The 2000s as a whole were basically "the years when we stick zombies in EVERYTHING".
