and, you constantly seem to want to ignore the fact the alcohol damages more of the body than marijuana does. *sigh* No, I want to ignore your claim, not "the fact." Alcohol damages a broader array of organs, yes... but the damage isn't as fast or as comprehensive. Also, the full damage of alcohol is well understood at this point, while scientists are still discovering evidence of new damage caused by pot use. Your claim is not factual, but I did actually address it already, if you'd paid attention. To put it another way; three is more than one, but three paint scratches don't affect your car's performance nearly as much as one hole in your radiator. (To say nothing of the fact that, once again, smoking anything is tremendously bad for your lungs.)

I'm going for my first time this year so I hope it will be amazing, I want to see them live but its just a different experience apparently.
And on top of that, fan interaction and treatment of the fans, TNA live events are better.

Yeah, it's totally logical to assume that the company that has to literally beg people to take free tickets to their TV tapings has better live events LOL

I saw Brock Lesnar wannabe in the crowd of Raw for 6 weeks straight.... Either somebody has a lot of money and time to buy tickets and follow RAW around... or that was WWE "plain clothes security" (or other officials).

I've seen Wrestleclown a lot at Raw lately. He must have a lot of money to get in the front area every week, and to travel to so many areas.

The funny thing is sometimes the House Shows get more attendance than the TV Tapings because The Impact Zone can only hold about 700-750 people in it, and three different house shows for TNA last week got over 800 people each :L Strange.

I'm going for my first time this year so I hope it will be amazing, I want to see them live but its just a different experience apparently. And on top of that, fan interaction and treatment of the fans, TNA live events are better. As much as I love slinging hyperbole and hating on the WWE the truth is that it's a lot of fun to go to a live wrestling event, or at least it used to be. There's kind of an electric sensation in the air when you're watching the same thing with thousands of people and oohing and aahing at the good moments (provided there will actually be any). I don't know if it's changed but in the 80s they used to hand out free programs in the form of little WWE mini-magazines (regular size, just fewer pages) that included a list of the night's matches as well as basic company jabber and possibly a little section showing off a bunch of merchandise. Vendors would walk through the aisles every now and then with soda, popcorn, pretzels and beer and getting in and out of the place was an absolute grind. Even if you just get the nosebleed seats I would think that it's still a lot of fun, you're basically paying for the atmosphere and experience. Of course I'm remembering shows from the golden age of the company- the late 80s- so I'm sure that at least some of this has changed. I don't remember if it was the THQ site or another one but I remember someone talking about how they attended an event and had to give up their sign because it was too obnoxious or had a comment that they didn't approve of or something. In addition the person was wearing a TNA shirt and was asked to remove it for the duration of the show, but in return he was given a free WWE shirt of his choice in addition to getting his original returned at the end of the night.

They are very strict WWE at all events. There is a few reports of that happening.

Yeah but now you know that if you wear a TNA shirt to the show they'll give you something that's actually good in return! Free goods!

Hahah you'll just leave but some TNA shirts are actually so much better than WWE.

WWE just like to protect their brand is all, no shame in that. If you are on TV and someone has a sign either being inflammatory, not PG or promoting the opposition you bet your ass it'll be taken away.
TNA don't have that problem because no one watches it anyway, or is in the arena. I would bet they would do the same if they were actually run well though.

I have nothing against WWE not letting TNA get free advertising on their own show (though I wonder why they would suddenly be strict about TNA, which is really non-competitive, when they blatantly let people wear WCW and nWo shirts to RAW during the height of the Monday Night Wars...), but I do think many, if not most, of those "stories" are complete BS, or are thoroughly exaggerated.
That said, TNA ALSO has been known to take away signs that they felt were inflammatory, which directly led to the famous incident where, during an episode of Impact you can clearly hear a large portion of the crowd doing the "Let's go Cena/Cena sucks!" chant. The people that started that were disgruntled fans who had had their sign taken away (and according to their version of the story, which is admittedly suspect, the sign was not complimentary to WWE, it just happened to mention Cena)

Still can't get over how cool the live event I went to was. And it was just 8 dark matches. I can't imagine how cool a RAW would be.

Raw is pretty fun, just wish the WWE would hurry up and bring a PPV over here again already.
