Phinneus was an opinionated guy that tended to rub every member of the forum the wrong way at some point or another. That's how these things sometimes go, but Phinneus' problem was that was also stubborn, tenacious, defensive, childish, and suffered from a severe persecution complex. Get him in a mild debate and fine, he'll argue his point into the ground regardless of whether there's any logic or fact to it. Whatever. Get him in an actual argument where he has a serious desire to "win" or change someone's mind, however, and he's asking someone who lives in a trailer how they could possibly consider themselves intelligent enough to argue with him or telling another user who had medical issues as a child that his parents were ashamed to have given birth to him. I remember another occasion where a member of the forum had shared the fact that he has a cold relationship with his father, who abandoned the family and was rarely seen, and Phinneus later said "I wish you and your loving family a very Merry Christmas". Long story short, he was banned about ten times at THQ but he kept coming back under different accounts. I eventually became one of his sworn enemies so he finally quit after I became a moderator on that site. oh fuck... |

Well, whomever just pretended to be phinneus/reckoning is permanently and globablly banned. Unless he gets a new IP and creates a new account. Or he uses a proxy, but those things are annoying. I had to keep closing out of this site because the proxies only allow you to go to a set number of pages. Speaking of which could you please delete Bryan619KnuckleShuffle? |

His email address was phinneus@outlook.com, if it makes any difference. If he's THAT bored and determined he'll sign up again and we'll just ban that one too. It's no biggie.

Proboards plugs in something so that your device (even with a different proxy) is considered a global account (and you can link it to other devices if you wish). I banned it both by IP and global banning him/her. Then again this may not work either, but if it doesn't and I find it, they will be banned again and again.... FIXED Double negative again....dammit. Is there a way to make it so that only invited people can create accounts? I doubt it, but still... There is, but I don't wish to do that. I'd more so like to welcome everybody with open hands before I choose to lock them out. |

If you're really determined you just have to find where Proboards targeted and get rid of it. I've had to deal with things like that before(Like chatango bans someone through Flashplayer and several other backup locations in case you get rid of that one) |

phinneus couldn't grasp how i didn't find the hardy boyz entertaining. other than that he and i never had an issue.. He and I didn't have an issue until (A) I told him that the Genesis was notorious for having worse audio than the SNES, and (B) I finally got fed up of he and another user arguing about Chris Benoit and told the other guy to give up because Phinneus was being an ass about it. That was it, from that point forward I guess I was his enemy for life. Sad really, we got along just fine before all of that. |
