phinneus couldn't grasp how i didn't find the hardy boyz entertaining. other than that he and i never had an issue.. He and I didn't have an issue until (A) I told him that the Genesis was notorious for having worse audio than the SNES, and (B) I finally got fed up of he and another user arguing about Chris Benoit and told the other guy to give up because Phinneus was being an ass about it. That was it, from that point forward I guess I was his enemy for life. Sad really, we got along just fine before all of that. I think I remember that Benoit argument... |

The Reckoning returned...again. My only interactions with Phinues were around the holiday season of 2011 when he insisted 1/2/12 was the undertaker. The controls make it extremely easy to ban an account on this site, the whole process takes about seven seconds. Is it usually harder? THQ had a relatively neat tool layout but it also had a revolving door of staff and as a commercial site this meant that the moderating policies weren't always consistent. |

I remember making a Benoit thread about verge reasons people defend him. Mike locked it quickly seeing that conflict could arise and ironically it went well before Phinues showed up.

He was wrong, and the forum exploded with joy and an onslaught of requests for him to leave. He didn't (which, in all fairness, he was in no way obligated to) and just began to taunt the forum that much more. I wasn't a mod at the time but I had already been told that I was going to be, and it wasn't much fun to watch this all play out. Summer of 2011 was an amazing time on the THQ boards, everything fell apart by the winter and this stupid event was one of the reasons why. How would you possibly remember one particular Benoit argument from the THQ boards. There were always 2 or 3 going on. Yeah, I was going to say. The Benoit topic raged regularly on the forum, we were eventually told to lock the subject as soon as it showed up. |

Yep, you beat me to it. As I just said to Knight, it got so bad that we were eventually encouraged to lock Benoit threads whenever they appeared. It was that much of a problem. People had started making a habit of posting them as a joke, just to troll, knowing that they stirred up arguments. You could never tell when one was meant to be legit and people eventually responded to them all with the same spite regardless, so it became a taboo topic altogether. Yes, things actually got that fucking stupid. |

All these people used to argue about whether Benoit was a great wrestler or a terrible human being and I constantly found myself saying "Um, both? Hey look, now we can move on". |

I joined around August that year(2011), I'd browsed the forums close to a year before that summer as I found out about S vs R 2011 August 9th of 2010. Coincidentally the day my grandmother had passed. My post count didn't really increase till I received an IPad for Christmas that year. Hunico/heelcara was the first to welcome me complementing me on how well I handled giving my opinions (I believe this was before his loathe for CM Punk as a performer was out of control. The first time I remember interacting heavily with you and knight was a thread about the best mature cartoons where I brought up the Boondocks and Knight said he had a small dislike off the show due to the actions of the man Huey was based off of. From there it spilled into me talking about how much I hated Spike lee's views on race relations. Sorry for the long paragraph but I felt a little nostalgic |

And all was well till Phinues showed up. Which I don't think stirred up anything but Mike locked it just incase. |
