I used to really love Bane as a villain, too. I have no idea why, instead of a South American master martial artist/evil mastermind, they turned him into a European lapdog/thug.

The first thing that came to my mind was "People'd think having a Hispanic villain'd be racist." I blame you guys for brainwashing me.

Most of us are rabidly anti-political correctness. We run around using words like "gay" and "retard" for everything BUT homosexuals and the mentally handicapped.

That's why. You guys have trained my mind to always blame PC. I guess there's some logic to that.

Funny. When Bane was announced, for the first time ever I was legitimately excited for a Batman film.
Then after seeing that he wasn't Hispanic, wasn't getting pumped up on venom, had a stupid fuzzy overcoat, and would be playing second fiddle to that dog Talia, I threw up a gesture and went back to hating everything the Bat franchise had become.

Eyebrow acting. And people defending eyebrow acting. I think that's all that really needs to be said about Bane in that movie.

Looks like we might be getting a "Trailer" for the long rumored Deadpool movie at SDCC 2014. Take it as a grain of salt, and no one else is really reporting it other than just quoting from this site. While I hope it does happen, I really would like to see Reynolds apart of the movie. Quote: Deadpool Movie Teaser At San Diego Comic Con 2014 While Ryan Reynolds Leaves The Project And Wade Wilson To Be Recast! The Deadpool movie teaser is going to be shown at the San Diego Comic Con 2014! According to the report of the Comic Central City, Marvel Comics and 20th Century Fox are going to put on a good panel for the fans by showing the Deadpool movie teaser trailer during the San Diego Comic Con 2014. But don't expect actual film footage from the Deadpool movie teaser as the filming for the movie hasn't even begun. Comic Central City notes that fans should expect the Deadpool movie teaser to be similar to the Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser shown at last year's comic con where it was just 3d objects with a voice over ending with the logo of movie. A few months ago, The Philadelphia Tempo reported that the Deadpool movie plot line is about a Deadpool from another dimension going into the X-Men origin timeline to wipe away the original Ryan Reynolds "Deadpool" due to the event having "universal repercussions". But with X-Men Days of Future Past effectively changing the timeline of the movies, the script would be rewritten to follow that storyline. Hugh Jackman has expressed his interest on fighting Deadpool again and this has led to rumors saying that he is going to be included in the movie however these are just rumors and there is no word from Fox that Wolverine is going to be included in the Deadpool movie. But the most notable news here is Michael Biehn being Cable, for a long time now, fans have been including him in fan casts and he would always play Cable in their fantasy cast and him being involved in the Deadpool movie is something fans would really appreciate. Despite the rumors that Michael Biehn was removed from the cast, that seems to be not the case in the Deadpool movie but as reported by the Philadelphia Tempo, Ryan Reynolds is not attached to the project anymore and Deadpool aka Wade Wilson would be recast. www.kdramastars.com/articles/...c-con-2014.htm

I actually really liked The Wolverine, except for Robo-Samurai That part specifically was really stupid. A lot of it was stupid. Just watch the CinemaSins for it. Virtually every point they make is dead balls accurate. ... I still loved watching it. Except for Robo Samurai

A robot samurai. More stupid than talking gorillas with mind control. Sure.

A robot samurai. More stupid than talking gorillas with mind control. Sure. ... you do understand that Marvel and DC are two different universes, right? A giant transforming fighter jet would be over-the-top and stupid in Star Wars, yet it was awesome in Robotech. The Force would have been over-the-top and stupid in Robotech, but was awesome in Star Wars.

A robot samurai. More stupid than talking gorillas with mind control. Sure. That was the 70s. This kind of crap is inexcusable in 2014. No it's not. Gorilla Grodd is awesome in any era.

I don't think I could take gorillas seriously in any setting.

As far as I know, there is no mind control in Planet of the Apes.
... and you're not supposed to take Gorilla Grodd "seriously". He's for fun. You know, like comic books are supposed to be?
