1. the doctrine or belief that there is no God. 2. disbelief in the existence of a supreme being or beings. Where does it say atheist claim for 100% we know there is no god? Right where it says "the doctrine or belief that there is no God." Not "the doctrine or belief that there may... or may not be a god, not sure tbh".

... do you know what "Doctrine" means? You're being ridiculous. Luckily, you know that, so I'm not wasting another moment on this Doctrine: a set of ideas or beliefs that are taught or believed to be true a statement of government policy especially in international relations www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/doctrineSo by your definition, Christians don't claim to know that there IS a God, since we have Doctrine and beliefs. When someone adheres to a doctrine or belief system, they are claiming to know that those things are true.

When someone adheres to a doctrine or belief system, they are claiming to know that those things are true. You should look into the words Gnostic and Agnostic. As I said before I'm a Agnostic Atheist. I don't know if there is or isn't a god but I don't believe there is. I'm not saying I know for 100% there is no god. What I'm saying is my lack of 100% knowledge of if there is a god or not is why I don't believe in one.

I don't know if there is or isn't a god. Again Knowledge and belief are not the same thing. This goes to WK question. No one knows for sure if there is a god or not. People may claim they know for a fact but no one on the planet do.

Atheists deny 100% the possibility of there being a deity, no matter what. Atheism is the complete disbelief of a higher power. The fact that you don't 100% fully deny the possibility makes you agnostic.

I'd say I'm more Agnostic Apatheist, but all these fancy titles confuse me lol. If if were to come out an answer to the big question, I don't really think it'd change my life much and atm religion hasn't. Nothing in Aberdeen revolves around it and I've just never been raised into it, so I continue on not really caring about it. I do wonder what my life would've been like had i been born in say, bible belt America though.

Christians who tell people that there is no Hell really worry me. "47 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, 48 ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched." - Jesus Christ (Mark 9: 47 & 48) We can either conclude that Jesus was making outright lying, or that there is a Hell and some people will go there. If you conclude that Jesus was a liar, why call yourself a Christian? Well, in actuality, Hell isn't an actual place. It's just the concept of the Lake of Fire.

If you conclude that Jesus was a liar, why call yourself a Christian? Well, in actuality, Hell isn't an actual place. It's just the concept of the Lake of Fire. Uh, what? Why would Jesus tell people that they would go there if it wasn't an actual place? Where on Earth do you get this idea that Hell is not an actual place? What scripture do you use to back it up? When Jesus says "In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Luke 13: 28) and... "It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched." (Mark 9: 47 & 48) What do you think he's talking about? Is he just tossing out idle threats? Is Jesus lying about a place of eternal damnation just to convince people to listen to him? How could you possibly read the Bible and deny the existence of Hell? "Lake of fire" might be argued to be a poetic expression rather than a literal description, but the intent of the several Biblical references to Hell is quite clear; there is a place to which the souls of those that reject God's grace will be sent to spend eternity with the Devil, who will also be locked away with them there to experience eternal torment.

Knight, I will not debate this with you, due to the fact that we come from 2 different walks of Christianity. This may cause us to have different views and beliefs on some things.

Gotcha.

Take that as you will.
