I'm not saying that. I'm saying that since we don't come from the same branch of Christianity, we might not have the same ideas on certain things, due to how we were taught. Take that as you will. But, do you believe everything that is written in the Bible? I'm guessing that he comes from a tradition that either A) Rejects Biblical inerrancy B) Has "alternative interpretations" of the Bible or C) Holds the teachings of some particular post-Testamental period teacher to be of greater authority than the Bible itself.

I've heard that before as well but it kinda defeats one of reasons of Christianity if you get rid of hell. Anyways the agrument I heard was that when Jesus was nailed to the cross he died for everyone sins, even the one that haven't been done yet so we have a free ticket to heaven. Personally I don't get it because it get's rid of a big part of Christian religion.

Personally I don't get it because it get's rid of a big part of Christian religion. Not everyone who rejects the notion of Hell is a Universalist. Some people simply believe that the souls of those who aren't saved will be destroyed entirely, or that there is no eternal Hell, only a place where people who didn't believe go to await the end of times when Jesus will give them a second chance, etc. There are all kinds of belief systems about this. The problem with them that I have is that ultimately, they're almost always based on "I don't want to believe that God would allow someone to suffer eternal torment because to me, "God" must be "loving" in the way that I define the word "love" and therefore I am willing to reject the clear teachings of scripture or corrupt them in exchange for assurance that God is a really really nice guy" For the record though, Jesus DID die for the sins of everyone... but faith is a gift and individuals are capable of rejecting the gift.
