Okay, what's her username? I'm sorry, I meant Mike could ask my wife. He's the only one of you people I would allow near people that I care about.

Makes sense Mike is honorable. He was raised by rats, and to return the favor he raises his own ratlings in a plot for world domination. Aside from a psychotic lust for cheese, I don't think Mike is too[/] ferocious.

Whenever you invite Mike over I hope he doesn't find any of your sons' eyes too pretty. He might punch them in the face.

I don't know, I don't think the podrace establishes that Anakin is a great pilot... racing pods and piloting starships isn't really the same thing. It is true that I fell asleep during the podrace scene on opening night of TPM (seriously, ask my wife, that scene was THAT boring), so I might have missed something. What I DO remember is that when Anakin got into an actual spaceship, he survives only via the sheer incompetence of his enemies and a number of ridiculous lucky circumstances, like failing to find the control system that he's looking for but accidentally finding an even more advantageous control system that automatically does the most advantageous thing for him at that exact moment... TWICE. Regarding their "friendship"... they repeatedly SAY that they're friends, brothers, etc throughout the second and third movies, but we never actually see any of that on screen. What we do see is that Obi-Wan doesn't trust Anakin and honestly sometimes doesn't even seem to like him, while Anakin deeply resents Obi-Wan and consistently blames him for his failings. I would think that, when speaking in retrospect, an Obi-Wan who actually remembered being in the prequels would have realized that Anakin was always kind of a psychotic little nert. Ah. Regarding the pilot issue, I actually agree to such an extent that I anticipated both of your explanations as I was writing my original response. I thought "well wait a second...when Obi-Wan tells Luke that Anakin was a good pilot it seems kind of implied that he's referring to actual ships, not dopey, broken down land-based vehicles. Wouldn't it have been more accurate to call him a good driver?" I mean, that's entirely correct: while he does magically learn to understand the (presumably complex) controls of an aerial fighter within moments of first hopping into one, he also bumblingly fires missiles, goes into dives, and I think even starts the damn thing up without knowing what he's doing. God I hated that little twerp. But yeah, I suppose the friendship thing kind of makes sense as well. Though they seem more or less chummy through some of Clones and Sith, it's pretty clear throughout that Anakin is uncomfortable with his role in the relationship and viewed Obi-Wan more as a competitor or authoritarian than friend. At the same time though, Obi-Wan did seem to genuinely care for Anakin and downplayed his animosity as typical growing pains, so in one-sided fashion they were friends from his perspective. I guess what he said was true, from a certain point of view.

Makes sense Hey, that's a complete mischaracterization. I hung out with rats in the park as an adult. so you'd trust the guy who in his youth hung out with rats in the park to be near your family? Makes sense Mike is honorable. He was raised by rats, and to return the favor he raises his own ratlings in a plot for world domination. I don't think that Knight is the kind of guy who'd produce kids as fey and delicately effeminate as Zac Effron.

I just saw "Neighbors" today (my wife's Mother's Day present), Efron was in it, I couldn't stop thinking "Mike would just be raging right now..."
